Power Football can still work but you better have a good conditioned defense. Once that no-Huddle read option gains traction, the offense has to be able to keep up.

Bama can't win it every year. Other teams are getting better as well. Younger coaches will eventually pass up the Sabans of the world.

I think Bama is like Mike Tyson. When Mike was in his prime, he won a lot of fights because he was good but also because his opponents were afraid of him. Once Buster Douglas won, people stopped being afraid of Mike Tyson and winning wasn't as easy for him anymore.

I don't know Juke. They say Saban burns you out at Bama. Marcel Dareus was the first to say it. They look suspect pass defense wise. They will probably get better no doubt. But usually defenses are ahead of the offenses early on. The SEC West may be real interesting.

Bama offense was going to be ok with all those RBs. As long as the QB don't turn over the ball. They will be fine. Their defense is what looks questionable pass wise. WVA Wrs are running free every play. They have dropped many big plays that could have them ahead in this game.

Bama's defense looks susceptible. However, that's not to say they will not improve. Bama's offense looks strong again, a few missed opportunities due to errors but it is the 1st game of the season....They definitely can be beat. I was more impressed with Texas A&M.
