The new staff, led under first-year coach Harold Jackson, stressed that the quarterbacks work with their receivers after the spring season and learn the playbook.

But it’s also the basic fundamentals of the position first-year offensive coordinator Timmy Chang has been teaching that makes Singleton confident.

A lot of you guys REALLY don't understand that we've been doing a lot of what we do off talent and not actually "coaching". But that has changed this season.

You better hope so. I would hate to see y'all calling yourselves ******* State University. It'll be interesting to see how Chang does as an OC.

Oh trust, it's about to be a fun season. Get a front row seat and "Get Ready", cause you will not be disappointed.
 



I hoping a change in the coaching will change some things. Also praying that our defense is conditioned. We would start out strong then just give out.

This is how shortsighted some people choose to be. Over the last five years, JSU has won more total games than any SWAC school and been in more title games.
As far as the latter's concerned, quality in-game coaching and team discipline will take care of that.
