I may have to ride down to S. FL for that Central/ BTW matchup. Those two and Northwestern are the "Big 3" in Dade County, but N'western hasn't been that great since Teddy Bridgewater left. Right now, it's all about Central and BTW. Last year I was at a Christmas party in Carol City that almost turned real ugly when some football players from BTW and Central showed up.

Game that should be on the Radar for Louisiana Folks:
Acadiana Wrecking Rams vs Archbishop Rummel 9/20/2014
Also Alabama's 4th rank team Shades Valley visits Acadiana on 9/13
Acadiana is no joke. I saw them just absolutely destroy Parkway in the title game last season. Rolled up 77 points, and could have scored more. lol
Miami Central coach got hate mail from someone in Alabama, so I certainly was pulling for them and was glad that they broke Hoover's long winning streak.

"An anonymous fan from Hoover sent a letter to Smith filled with racial slurs and insults directed at him and his team."
Hoover is not liked in Alabama. The bad calls are common by the refs when teams play Hoover. The majority of the state was pulling for Miami Central.
Our local High School (Stephenson in DeKalb County), will be squaring off against Miami Central on Saturday.
It is one of four games in what is billed as the "Battle of the Borders" where Ga. teams play Fla. teams.
The match ups look nice. They are:
Marist vs. Godby, then, M.L. King vs. Norland, then, Stephenson vs. Miami Central and finally Tucker vs. Booker T. Washington, the defending national champions.
Looks like a really nice HS Football weekend. Hopefully we get a couple of wins out of the four.
FINAL
(20) Hoover (Ala.) 14
Colquitt County (Moultrie, Ga.) 35
FINAL
(4) Allen (Texas) 55
Guyer (Denton, Texas) 41
Guyer is no joke 4A champs in TX
Interesting Matchups This Weekend:
5) Booker T. Washington (FL) vs. 6) Central Miami
4) Allen, TX vs. Dutch Fork (Irmo, S.C.)
7) Centreville High School Clifton, VA vs. No. 20 Gonzaga (Washington, D.C.).
I have a co-worker leaving now to check this one out. They usually play the game on Saturdays. I don't think there's a school that's had a tougher schedule than Central thus far. Hoover in Week 1, Stephenson (GA) in Week 2. Now BTW. Next week is Coral Reef- and they are normally competitive year in and year out.
Acadiana is no joke. I saw them just absolutely destroy Parkway in the title game last season. Rolled up 77 points, and could have scored more. lol
Several schools from Louisiana that don't recruit has made that poll at one time or the other (Warren Easton, Edna Karr and West Monroe which are Louisiana public schools come to mind)
