Renovating Robinson Stadium

Y'all got on your knees like field ninjas begging to massa just to get some muscle milk and laundry detergent.
I can't imagine what y'all gone do to upgrade that muddy field in that raggedy ass stadium.
Gone be picking a lot of cotton in north Louisiana
The school will be closed before y'all raise the money though.

I know you didn't fix your mouth about massa, when massa gave you a stadium and won't build you a Domed Stadium. The nerve. You sound angry by the way. I love it.

:lmao::lmao:

Take the smack out of this or create another damn thread on the smack board. Acting like a bunch of ****ing kids sometimes.

And u gonna skip over the "D 1st game" comments, y'all can't help ourselves tho, JSU lack any ability to support any school that's not JSU. PV announced they were building a new stadium, JSU ask what they need all those seats for, TSU announced they were having a game in the Bahamas, JSU asked if they were gonna steal the island, and Alcorn announced they gave Hobson a extension, JSU asked why, even after he lead Alcorn to their highest win total in 40 years. JSU is a bunch of haters, because misery love company.

Hey 09....I didnt see that thread...but why do they need all those seats? They dont have but 3-4K fans max on a good 75 degree undefeated team season. Why such a big stadium. Should they spend that money trying to get their APR up? IJS

Sometimes? All the dam time.......

Dude, the GSU folks are just very sensitive about the lifelong smack they will get for being scared to come to Jackson. That's all. Sometimes you just have to accept those things you can't change. Heck, we will never out-live the running clock smack but we deal with it...They can't deal with it.

That was low and I missed when it was said... but it's a dayum good joke.. :lmao:

Dude, that was just a moment of honesty. Two years ago, Comegy was coming off of back to back 8-3 and 9-2 seasons and we only gave him an extention if he agreed to a $50K buyout. Hobson got 9 wins by playing TWO sister of the poor schools and then he came in THIRD. Dr. Johnny even won 7 games at Alcorn. He could have won 9 games too if he scheduled Wagner and Ed Waters. What Hobson did last year was equivalent to a 7-win season. It's not downing him but JSU fans would look at it the same way. If Comegy had gone 9-2 and asked for a raise, the FIRST thing we would have said is ummmm but you playing Spelman and West Central High... LOL Our OC when Casey was with us wanted a raise for going 8-3. We thought that negro was crazy. UNLESS Hopson's contract was up or he was about to leave, Alcorn jumped the gun with that contract. We are entitled to our opinion but at the end of the day, we do realize that not everyone has the same standards as JSU.

. JSU is a bunch of haters, because misery love company.

We are not miserable.. we are quite happy actually....

I think AAMU was the first school in the SWAC to switch over to turf at their own on campus stadium...then Bama State..who else plays on turf at their on-campus stadium?...I would think Grambling is going to need some pumps to help drain that stadium if yall put turf in....

New dainage will be part of the project

If I was tryna be funny, I would say how you gonna keep a lake drained but I ain't gonna try to say nothing funny.

The type of drainage system below would take care of Eddie Robinson Stadium Lake:

All they need to do is hire a Southern graduate in Civil Engineering to design the drainage system and to determine the system's discharge head to properly size the right duplex pumps with dual automated switches (float and transducer) so both pumps can cycle on and off automatically.

Games played in Jackson, MS
2001 Grambling 31 JSU 16
2003 Grambling 24 JSU 17
2005 Grambling 52 JSU 21
2007 Grambling 30 JSU 20
2009 Grambling 27 JSU 17
2011 Grambling 26 JSU 23
2013 Scared? Ok.

Were you even at the game the last time JSU beat Grambling at Rent-A-Stadium? In fact, I wonder how many Jackson fans on this board were there the last time Jackson actually beat Grambling on playing the playing turf in Mississippi.

Anyway, carry on JSU. I really love JSU fans.

Dude, if yall can't keep that baseball field properly drained, how you going to keep an entire football field drained?

What have you done lately and what are the damn odds Grambling will even come CLOSE to beating JSU. Heck, the last time we played, they almost implemented the mercy rule at Robinson.

All jokes aside though, that stadium is past due an upgrade.....WAYYYYY past due.

Instead of pumps, we can use all that hot air from that school in Jackson, MS to dry our baseball field. :emlaugh:
