The first AP poll is out.
The SEC has 8 teams in the top 25​

5 out of the 7 members in the SEC West is in the top 25. One of those 2 teams in the West will not be a cake walk that didn't make the top 25 (Mississippi State). That's way too much heat for 1 division. :lol: :emlaugh:

Slow down LSU's run game( which we have the horses to do) and challenge their young QB to throw against our secondary led by VHIII. Plus it's in the SWAMP. Also, Driskel will be decent since he is finally playing in an offense built for him. We all saw how LSU players were dropping like flies in the Florida heat during their last visit to the SWAMP. lol

Hey, I am not turning away any help in these games. If it takes LSU suffering in the Florida heat for us to win, I'll take it. lol

It's funny, a few years ago, everybody thought that USF would be the new big dog in Florida, but UCF is starting to surge and I don't think they are going to slow down.

Not only that, UCF is now the biggest school in Florida, in terms of enrollment, and is continuing to grow and become more serious about athletics.

UCF will go back to being average. As long as Florida doesn't have the major injury issues of last season, even an average coach like Muschamp should win no fewer than 8 games with our talent. That's why I think we will be a 8-4 team this season(losses to Bama, South Carolina, Georgia, and FSU). 2015 will be Florida's championship year(with or without Muschamp).

I don't know how USF fell off so fast. Their first coach got canned after the meteoric rise and then Holtz turned out to be a bad hire after he did so well at ECU. Still feel they're one good hire away from being back.

Like you said about UCF, O'Leary has been building a steady program in Orlando that wasn't in the spotlight until that game against Baylor. With that style of play in the AAC, he could easily win 9-10 games a year and keep it going

I knew they had a large enrollment but didn't know they had passed Florida.

This will be Muschamp's last season at Florida. They will not contend and they deserve everything they get. Strong should have been the HC but they thought that they were actually getting something with Muschamp. Florida's loss is UT's gain.

We don't care about votes in a preseason poll.. Just like AlaState-JState, you all get ranked ahead of us every year and it amounts to nothing. We get picked behind UNC every year and we whoop them every year. Wait til we get to midseason.....

They can. They won't be tested until they play Charlie Strong's Texas team in Oct.

uuum, he is not a cry baby.. He just does his job, kicks azz and goes home. It ain't no secret that the SEC is over-rated.
