if you call losing 12-9 bullied. OK. But on the real. You know as a JSU fan you come in this game out gunned, matched, coached, etc, etc. You know deep down it's going to get ugly in Memphis. Over by the half.

I never read where there was to be a return game. It doesn't make sense to pull out of Chicago to play in St. Louis. So at best I could guess this was a one game deal. After watching APBU's band and the energy their fans had, i'd like to see a home and home. No classics.

What I was talking about was the contract between the 2 schools to play on September 13, 2014. Both schools had apparently signed (I think) and the game was scheduled, but at the last minute (sometime in either late February or early March), without explanation, Tennessee State backed out of the deal. That's why it took so long for our schedule to come out; our AD had to search for a school to play and we had to settle for Concordia.

It would have been a great matchup for both schools (and a chance for us to try to avenge the 2012 game). I agree, there was a high energy in the air from fans and alum from both schools, and the game was also fast-paced. I really wish TN State had not backed out.

Dude please. Every game except maybe one or two over the last ten years has been close. Tenn. State's offense is not that explosive any how for it to be a blowout of any sorts.

Never said that yall were bullied. BUT you did concerning HBCU opponents yall played last year. I merely pointed out that yall lost. That's it.

Is this the ? you speak of. I don't know about an OVC Forum, from time to time someone from anther OVC school would come to our forum, however I have never been to theirs. Never looked. Don't really care.

Based off what you say i'd find that to be rumor more then truth, because we always play Jackson St in the SHC the 2nd weekend in September. No way our AD would have signed a contract for that date.

I have total respect for BCU. They have a great program. I did think we would pull off a close one since we were home, but I knew having to play with our backup QB who was a Freshman it was going to be tough. Hats off to BCU, they are the only HBCU program that can compete with us right now. All others would get bent over.

Why not? I see you or another tnsu poster post in the meac forum as well. It's like you want to brag about being in the ovc (big house) but are bored and want to interact and belittle other hbcu's cuz that conference you are in isn't kind to you or fun lol. This is what I would do if jsu left the swac: I would brag about being in a pwi conference but still come on this forum because this is where the action's at!

Thing is you dont get ZERO rings for beating AAMU or any other SWAC school.... you should be much more concerned with Eastern Illinois and Eastern Kentucky and Jacksonville State..... the rest of the OVC is equivalent to the SIAC anyway.

I think right now other OVC schools view us as a team they don't want to play. THIS SEASON I think we would beat the shat out of all HBCU's except BCU. U may not like how I say it, but it's true.

I am concerned about those 3 schools. Who i'm not concerned about is ASU and JSU. Easy wins until we play some tuff teams.

If you got that any JSU person takes pride in losing close games then that's very unsmart of you to think that. JSU fans are the most prideful fanbase I know of in HBCU football and we don't take losing kindly at all. I think you already know this though.

As far as the games are concerned, our lack of coaching doomed us in most of those games and stupid playcalling. Then again, you know this.
Most of those games could've gone either way just like the Tenn. State/BCU game did last year.
