Who...me or Hopson? Hopson showed Worm how a real world FBS coach is suppose to coach (Actually, Hopson has done twice in a row).

What is the real world in the world of JR?

You just don't know when to shut up son. Besides the embarassment you received today, didn't somebody tell you just last week to shut up until your school wins at least one DIVISION title? Have you been let in Alcorn's private forum yet? Is it that no one can vouch for you from your own school or the group simply doesn't respect you? Didn't I ask your alums just a few months ago to ease up on bashing you? Have you no shame? :smh:  :emlaugh:

What embarrassment? Football is Football. Did you know when Alcorn beats SU on Sept. 25, we would have won 4 out of the last five years?

Didn't someone just tell you last week that you dummies need to stop totally focusing on jsu, S.U. and win other games so you can make it to ONE SCG? Can a doctor prescribe something to cure your brain farts? :smh:  :emlaugh:

Of course I said that last week. Problem is, SU is still in way.

If you call winning 6 division titles and 5 conference championships since Alcorn won their last championship, yes we're in the way. But then again so is Gram, jsu, pv, AAMU, Bama State, UAPB and TXSU. All of these schools have won more division or conference titles than Alcorn since you won your last one. Good luck on this season. You guys need a championship in football almost as worse than the Tea Party needs common sense.

Let me ask you Jags a serious question:

Are you not least bit sympathetic to JSU's position in this APR Mess? Keep in mind that you were banned too. Do you feel it was fair?

JR.. at the end of the day.. APR is the issue. Ya'll had bad APR and tried to cheat to make it good and it was still bad. Who does that? Really?

TP, how did SU try to cheat? Nobody doctored the data sent. It was the same data that the previous folks sent. The NCAA is double jeoparding SU in my book. We don't have APR issues with the current regime. Not one year of it. Once we got put on probation with JSU in 2010. We cleaned up the situation when Stump arrived then when Broussard arrived he hired folks to help him out that the previous AD didn't. I can see if SU was sending in improper data from 2010 on AFTER the NCAA gave us APR probation. But these lousy mofos are trying to penalize SU for isht done damn near a decade ago that was not right. It ain't SU fault the NCAA didn't audit LaFluer sooner than later then want to come in and say uh we didn't like that data you sent for the student athletes from 05-09 era. Poor Broussard probably thought it was a simple request until he went looking for what should be in the SU Computer system to send to the NCAA. I am sure he is like damn, what did these mofos do before he got there. The NCAA can see that it was due to bad folks or in some cases no folks doing anything back then. What they should be concerned with is what is in place now and not trying to figure out some half arsed data about student athletes who been gone for years and years. You make sure the new regime has the right system in place. So when you audit the current data coming in. You don't have those issues. That's what they should be doing. I have no faith in the NCAA after they fugged up the Miami Hurricanes investigation and even was too hard on my Buckeyes for tattoos. Fugg the NCAA.

Really. Worm got the ship. Did Hopson?

As for the real world of JR. I know you are not living in anyone's real world except some imaginary characters I believe. One flew over cuckoo's nest send help.

Can someone please translate this? This dude is way too smart for me to follow sometimes...

apr is sketchy to begin with...PV does not accept Ds for transfers while other schools will in the conference...PV doesn't have general studies to roll athletes into as I know several players who could not match their JC transcripts to PV's curriculum but they head over elsewhere and are eligible

each school uses it differently...it's worse the bigger you get...it's easier in some cases for athletes to enroll in the Big 12 than to go elsewhere because the other schools aren't creating majors for athletes

those athletes are getting in with admit exceptions and can only major in what they tell them to because they should not be there by normal standards...alot of schools do it but these kids want to compare academics when SWAC schools get caught in a PWC recruiting battle

The bar is being lowered everywhere, even all the way down to middle school. It is an 8th grader at my son's MS who's sister wished him a happy 16th birthday. Are people for real right now? My son wouldn't even be able to eat recreational food if he failed twice, yet this kid is awarded with competing against kids 2 years younger than him. My son plays for a team that actually checks their grades, but we play against other teams who don't. Since some schools don't have made up grades or people who take tests for athletes like at my wifey's alma mater *cough *cough Kentucky they have to take a hit, to me it is a problem bigger than APR with our young black men who are the most affected

JSU's not at that point, so it's irrelevant to even bring it up. Fact of the matter is that su's ENTIRE athletic program is currently in violation of NCAA standards.
Now suddenly you're crying "fugg them" cause su's being rewarded for the seed it planted years ago regardless.
su planted the seeds, now the seeds have grown into academic weeds.
Seems to me that su's AD is in over his head right now and doesn't know how to handle this delicate situation. He HAS to be biting his nails off wondering what decision the NCAA will make in the coming weeks.
No JayRob I gotta say you are wrong. Their AD is not concerned about the outcome. They already gave him a 3 year contact. So he ain't worried at all. Can you imagine giving a 3 year contract to an AD whose athletic department is banned from the NCAA? Where they do that at? Must be nice being lightskinneded cause that's all that young cat is working with.

I know when my main man JR starts to get frustrated. He starts cussing at folks and calling names. ALL We Logical people want to know is where is the information you used to get off probation the first time. If you don't have it now then you must not have had it the first time. Either your administrator is lying now or it was lying then or both.

You also can't just blame everything on a past regime. If you say it was them that means you had a lack of institutional control which is an even more serious claim than all the other mistakes.

So which is it brother?

But see JR what you are failing to understand is I don't want yall ineligible. It makes my school look bad to be affiliated with a bunch of academically ineligible schools. Surely there will be one or two schools fighting academics like BamaState and Texas Southern. But those are thug schools, we expect them to bring up the rear in academics. I want you guys to get some qualified people and get a hold of your academics. We pulling for you

I suggest that Broussard come to JSU, tour the campus with our AD... let her show him our set up and how we do things...study hall - effective recruiting - congruent therapy. She can show you how we have 18 compliant programs

As a matter of fact why don't all academically inadequate schools come to a workshop at the same time. I'm sure JSU would love to help yall even though yall couldn't wait to stab us in the back. You were stupid then and you're stupid now but you don't always have to be stupid. Let's get it done.

................As you can tell below, Northern Kentucky is stoked!

===
Northern Kentucky University men's basketball coach Dave Bezold said the toughest part of the last two years was being unable to compete in Atlantic Sun championships.

The Norse will have their chance this year.

A new NCAA policy grants all 15 of NKU's sports programs eligibility for conference postseason championships starting in 2014-15. Although NKU is two years into a four-year reclassification process to Division I and cannot compete in NCAA tournaments until the period is complete, the clarification allows the Norse to qualify for, participate in and even host A-Sun championships.

"We're ecstatic," Bezold said. "It gives players in the middle of the season something to play for, to know they can compete in the conference tournament. Now we're able to grow our programs two years faster. It's a tremendous thing for student-athletes across the board."

Full Story

This should make things interesting on campus this spring. If NKU makes the conference tourney, I'll find out where my students' loyalty truly lies since most of them profess Kentucky blue.

Regards.

I can nod my head at these comments. I too feel that the APR is sketchy. Inadequate is adequate is another one I can use. Some schools have "easier" majors that others do not have.

I am not surprised at older kids being in middle school. Age 16 should be an eye opener. Then again I have not followed everything that has happened in middle school lately.

Creating "easy" majors is not new. During the '70s there were cases when athletes who finished their eligibility and could not read or write. It did not become a "major" scandal until some of those athletes finished their pro careers.

This is EXACTLY why we need to leave this horrible conference. How much money do we actually get for being in this dumb conference anyway? We could just go independent and play whatever teams we want.
