If the SWAC schools in LA and Texas would stop being so afraid to play their neighboring Southland schools, they could be on TV more. Some teams only schedule 10 games instead playing schools close to them. Then complain when they get no TV exposure.
And PV's 10th game is agains't who?

It baffles me how the SWAC turns down regional/national TV coverage because the network wants us to change our start time or they might inconvenience us a little bit. We are (literally) the dumbest conference in the world. SEC schools change their start times to accommodate TV networks. But not us...sheeeeesh. Do we not realize that we are the SWAC? The SWAC should play on Sunday if somebody is going to show it on network TV

I'd rather the SWAC look to getting a package like the Southland or getting in on Sinclair Broadcasting's American Sports Network

How can their deal not be better than the swac's? I know from mid september thru november I can watch a southland game every sat at the same time each week. Now they even thru in a wildcard week so they will broadcast the best game that may have conference championship implications.

And when you point out facts with research data, you always have that delusional group who like to discredit your finding, but only have more delusional thoughts to backup their words.
So you watch a SLC game on TV every week? How many folks who aren't fans of that particular matchup will login and watch? How many fans can randomly flip channels and see a SWAC game on TV at some point in the season? National TV, whether live or delayed, will have higher viewership than regional or online. Heck in Houston the regional TV feed is rabbit-ear quality.
Then add basketball, softball, and bowling, which I saw live for the SWAC multiple times last regular season by just flipping channels and almost never for the SLC and it is not a comparison.

I'm sure the word "delusional" made you respond to my post.
So are you saying budget data is the only data that is made up and is not properly normalized? I guess you never heard of the phrase "inaccurate or flaw scientific data". But you are right, some data are inaccurate, which is why you have to question the data source, such as any financial data that schools are required to release to the media by law (Freedom of Information Act). And if a school does report inaccurate financial data, the person in-charge could possible get in trouble for forging documents and misleading the public.

I don't have to log in to watch a SLC game, it comes on one of my cable system channels. Don't matter if you're not a fan of a particular matchup, it's football and that's all that matters.
I'm in Houston and I have great TV quality on my sports channels and even the local channels.
Don't add those other sports, we're just talking football.

The Swac conference does not have anything to do with those games I noted above, so how is those games part of the swac tv package. The conference has 3 tv games to go with the 1 online game, the championship game and the game they share with the Meac. Their contract is with ESPN for those selected games only.
