Listen up maggots! And that's an order!
The Advocate posted this video earlier today ... looks like DJ is at the Manning Passing Academy

DJ has been used in the wrong capacity. He should be WR....he has the speed. Most folks have never watched the practice sprints. If he bulked up he would be tough.

I haven't seen WR speed from DJ. If he had that kind of speed, he would be more effective as a QB. This season is do or die for this kid. If he wins the job, I sure hope he performs. If he doesn't, then he needs to be a good backup because their is no way in hell that he should play WR for a team that will have plenty true WR's to choose from in 2014. Just wait.

I am just being real. How many college football players can say they won a championship game for the same team their father played for and playing for their father? History on paper will show a different story than what the mouths of black folk say.
CeeDog get on with that bruh!!! You already know the deal

I believe if Gram would have found a way to keep that kid from Charlotte another year and redshirted DJ, Grambling football fortunes would have been different.........IMHO. Grambling has a small percentage of tea party like fans so there still would have been busy body naysayers undermining this kid.

If there was any "undermining" done it was was done by the head former coach. See Anthony Carrothers, Frank Rivers (now at Albany State) and Dawrence Roberts just to mention a few.

You are right once again. Carrothers was a hell of a QB. That kid would have been great for the next few seasons.

Ya'll kill me. First of all, Doug loved Carrothers game and wanted him to stay and be his quarterback. Ask anyone close to the program during the transition and they will tell you that. However, the kid had serious academic issues that were going to keep him out from the spring and most likely the summer. Carrothers knew this and really didn't want to take a risk of not being able to make his grades and miss a season. He also knew he would get caught up in a QB battle after missing so much with a new system. He made the decision to transfer to a division II program to avoid these problems. Not anyone else.

As far as DJ is concern, he needs to win the job hi senior year and perform well if he wants to be on the field. Period. I am not trying to see him at WR. DJ throws a solid ball, but has poor pocket movement that needs some serious attention. The kid tries to emulate his dad's pocket passing style in this era of SWAC football. It won't work unless you have a great/big offensive line. In this era of SWAC football, you don't get great lineman therfore you have to move around much more than he does. That's his flaw.

After being 5 years removed from high school with 1 SWAC title under his belt, DJ must perform now! All of my GSU family talking about he needs to be a WR need to sit the F down somewhere. One thing I give Fobbs, he brought in 2 nice WR's who I believe cab start this season to go with 2 solid returning WR's we have. We don't need a rookie 4th year senior WR who has been a QB all of his life embarrassing our program any future. I really want DJ to shine this season and wish him success, but if DJ doesn't win the job, he needs to sit his _ss on the F'n bench. We don't have time for WR experiments.

Ah that's not what Carrothers told me. I'm not going to air out what he said but it's definitely not what you're saying.

Oh Lord.

Whatever dude. That's the truth. AC was screwing up royally in the class room. There are plenty of people, including Broadway, who knew this was going to be a problem for him towards the end of the year.

Oh he said he didn't do everything right but it was so other stuff going on also. Not going to have a bItching session, he's gone but i just had to say something.

I hope DJ wins the starting job this year he seems like he is ready to lead Grambling to the SCG

The only way he starts is if he improved a lot because he didn't look to hot in Spring Camp but the other Quarterbacks were better than him.

You know why? Because he is was trying to be a pocket QB....
