Is ALCORN That GOOD?

They are a pretty good SWAC team with alot of returning starters...

You are hearing more talk about them because its JULY and there is nothing else to talk about...

Gosh I hate this remedial conference and are non realistic look at college sports..they played 2 middle school teams and a few SWAC teams who werent that good and played an overly confident JSU team last yr hence the 9 win season...
 
Someone answer the question from Alcorn truthfully. Did yall really print out SWAC Champion tshirts and give them out to people? How does any person with one ounce of pride actually put that bad boy on.

We'll they put up the same number of points on yall just as they did the "middle school." So am I missing something...seems some get in their feelings whe they're not the topic of the conversation..

So what? The Spurs lose to teams like the Pistons every now and then but ONLY every now and then. You guys have only beaten JSU like one out of six years. Looking at it from that point of view, I guess that's reason enough for Alcornites to stick out it's chest eventhough it ended up finishing in third place.
 
So what if they played a weak non conference schedule. This is the SWAC, not the Big Ten. Non conference schedules means nothing when it comes to divisional play. I remember people thought my G-Men were going to beat SU in 2003 because we played #7 FCS McNeese State and San Jose State while SU played Allen and Lincoln.



Alcorn went 9-3 last season and bring back plenty of fire power. They are the team to beat in the SWAC. Nobody said that they are the Money Mayweather's of the SWAC, but the Braves are packing a big punch and expected to win the division. Instead of hating on the facts, beat them on the field when it's your time.

The thing about the shirt is not true at all. There was no such shirt made. However JayRob if you check the series dated back till 2003, you will see that we, Alcorn, leads the series. So ummm this 1 out of 6 yrs is bs

STOP focusing only on JSU and focus on every SWAC Game. To simplify for you Alcornites who cannot understand my complex mind frame, EVERY SWAC GAME we play is like a Championship, we have to win. JSU should not be the focus.

To Emmanuel Barnes, if you are reading this, DO NOT ANNOUNCE any SWAC scores this year during the ballgames. Our team does not need that distraction during the game. Alcorn has 3G and 4G Network availability. If people want to know a score, they can use their smartphones.
