I don't even know why it is a conversation.

The NCAA is not going to give any school the death penalty. Has nothing to do with SU. They just ain't doing it. The media would crucify them royally if they did that to a HBCU and allow the Big Boys to do whatever they want. They ain't crazy. You think they lost the O'Bannon case. This would effectively end the NCAA as we know it if they nailed a HBCU harder than they have FBS level schools who outright have done some bad stuff.

As for Puebla. That is the funniest isht I have heard. Beans got yall started on that foolishness because he don't know how the process works. Puebla ain't getting deported. Not like he ran across the border with no paperwork. Dude boarded a plane. You got to have correct stuff to do that. I have seen it all too often in corporate America where folks have to return to their homeland to get stuff worked out at their Embassy. I am sure Southern has to sponsor him to work in the US and the paperwork that the Feds have you do is long. I had a co-worker who had to take time off to go back to Mexico to get her stuff fixed and our company sponsors her being here. But the process is tedious. Folks acting like our coach is some illegal immigrant who jumped on a boat or sneaked across the border. LOL.

I can make the same about the younger SU generation then. Y'all really reaching, y'all create stuff thats not even there. A little smack talk and y'all get defensive and say we hate y'all, seriously?? Wanting y'all to lose in sports is different than wanting to see a demise. I think some folk from Southern post stuff to get a reaction....

The younger generation don't even pay attention at games so that is false....some old heads hate su folks and some don't. My fam has so many roots in the N.O. we can't help but to "like" them in some sort of way when we go to BR. I personally am not going to say that I like or dislike them, I'm just indifferent.

Can you blame 'em for not liking a JSU team that beat them like 14 out of 15 years before Pete came along? They got a right to hate a team that scheduled them for homecoming.
They got a right to hate JSU just like the rest of the SWAC (maybe minus Grambling minus the last two years).

He really don't need to show up. He can sit in the press box and let his assistants do the job. Odoms just ain't that good of a coach but them su folks been down for so long, they think he's the second coming of coach Rob or W.C. since he won eight games last season.
