Maybe the Magnolia Classic should become the SCG. If the SWAC stuck with it's rules, su wouldn't have been eligible last year and the two sorriest teams in the West would only be eligible this year.

This is true. About TAMU and PVAMU few want to talk about that. I believe that Texas A&M had a recruiting disadvantage against other Big 12 school when it came to undecided majors. I am not sure and will have to check.

Nothing wrong with SU current APR. The NCAA just needs to make up their minds about the past isht and let us know what they are going to do. The CURRENT SU Football team is fine.

That's even worse. Yall don't know if the NCAA's penalty would be for one, two or more years whereas if it was only about this year's APR, you'd only get banned for one year.

It isn't going to be that. But they do need to say what the penalties for stuff is for the last years under Pete and LaFluer are. Nothing we can do about that. This hurts the current kids. But they are taking care of their business. So calling them dumb or they need to be in class is not true. Tell that to the ones who came through from 03-04 time frame until Stump took over and now Big Worm. We know the ball was dropped back then. Can't fix the old stuff. You can only take care of the current stuff since the new folks have been on board.

I hate APR sanctions happening to all of our schools. That's why I don't like smacking about that kind of stuff. I was against the ban in 2011 just like I am against the bans now. Unless there is some blatant CHEATING going on with kids get grades changed on our teams or Coaches/ADs knowing they are playing ineligible players then I can see bringing the hammer down.

The good thing is that SU has the right people in the AD and Coaches office. Hopefully our compliance folks are up to speed NOW as well. We basically had none before our last AD left. Stuff was cut and we paid for it and continue to pay for bad decisions in the past.
