Teddy Bridgewater is falling, and there's no real reason why

It almost seems impossible.

When Teddy Bridgewater carved up Florida's defense in the Sugar Bowl as a true sophomore, nobody would have entertained the idea. When he continued to develop as a passer during his junior season, limiting interceptions and making every throw look easy, nobody thought twice. The times Bridgewater fought through injury or led Louisville to late-game comebacks didn't raise concern, either.

What do you guys think?

From what I've read his pro day was a complete disaster. A lot of his passes were ducks.

If he falls to #11; I sure hope my Titans consider him.

His pro day was not as bad as folks make it seem. He had a few bad throws but nothing alarming to totally discredit his game film.

Bridgewater is the most NFL Ready and that is not good enough! What does a black QB has to do?

Has nothing to do with him being black. He is good, but not so good where you draft him in the Top 10. There has to be something that they saw or found out that turned them off of him. Even if he doesn't go in the top 10, he can still prove those teams that passed over him wrong.

I mean Mel Kiper and Todd McShay looked like they were about to come to blows over when Johnny Manziel was going to be drafted. lol

If you can't see the race factor in this, I don't know what to tell you.

I guess I am just missing something here. If race were a major player here, then as Teddy is falling AJ McCarron would be skyrocketing up. From what I have heard and read, dude's workouts have not been great....not saying they were bad just that they were blah.

Over analysis. Game film doesn't lie. I saw him carve up Miami and Florida in consecutive bowl games with my own eyes.

Tom Savage and Jimmy Garoppolo are rising. McCarron would have been rising had he not agreed to that reality show.

He is good, but I don't get why some folks are trying to make it into a race issue.

Because the very same reasons that black QB's were not drafted, are the same reasons why Johnny Football is celebrated. Just interesting how his game is picked on more than any other QB. Bridgewater is falling and garbage Tom Savage is rising.

Two teams that weren't at there best. Also, Bridgewater has craved up stats against plenty of weak teams in his career and looked average against decent teams. I was shocked when people had him above Johnny in their rankings. Bridgewater is one of the best QB in this draft, but I just don't think he is as good as some make him out to be.

I really don't understand why the media is so down Bridgewater. His game resembles a traditional NFL quarterback. Bridgewater know how to read the defense at the line of scrimmage, change the line protection at at the line, control defensive players with his eyes, and make teams pay for blitzing him.

Manziel on the other hand does not have the ability to read defenses (pre-snap), change protection for the o-line, and almost never use motion.

In the end I believe Bridgewater will be picked 1st overall or the first QB taken in this draft.

You haven't watched many Texas A&M games in the past 2 years. Johnny Football had great numbers against the best conference in college football. Teddy on the other hand, racked up numbers against the FIU's and Temple's of the world. Johnny has the "it" factor. Teddy looked lime pure trash in his pro day and Johnny Football shined with shoulder pads on at his pro day.

Ben Roethlisbeger and Joe Flacco played against soft competition. So did Aaron Rogers and Andrew Luck. Tony Romo & Phillip Rivers too.

If the dude can play, he can play. Period.
