Haven't really been paying attention, but does Valley still have all those 3rd-tier white boys on the team????

Valley's team is now about half Black and half White but they're still sorry because they still have that 70 something year old coach.

Wayne Graham is nearly 80, "age aint nuthin but a number" says one famous singer.

They are sorry because of him as a coach. And not to mention, the resources he has available to him.

I don't ever recall Valley going 1-25 regardless of resources.

Gotcha. I'm sure the Bamas winning has something to do with it. No disrespect, but wasn't those automatic wins 3+ years ago. Also, baseball is a non revenue generating sport. If basketball and football have the least resources in the SWAC, baseball has to be unreal for Valley.

Naaa... it was not long ago that we were racking up those Eastern Division crowns like the softball team. As some have said, Shanks has probably stayed at least 3 years too long (and this is coming from a Valley alum. I'm just being real). Can't keep on recruiting the same way for all these years (especially those "light skins" who couldn't get on at Ole Miss or MSU and just want to play D1 baseball to help out the resume down the road) and not have it catch up with you at some point. 2014 is that point lol
