I read it and you are saying we don't have any qbs this year.

No. YOU just said that. I was saying that having a good wr corp means nothing if you get to the qb. Good qb or not. I was speaking more on our revamped defense than your qb situation.

There's no doubt in my mind that Joseph was the best qb su had on the squad in quite some time. If these guys think the next qb is better than Joseph, they're fooling themselves or they don't know football.
The thing about him is he seemed to always get up for the JSU game too but played sorry against lesser teams.

Lol..Dude McGinity from that 2010 squad ate yall up Lol..stop it bruh...remember how yall had LB spies on him and he still made plays with his feet...

Shorts presents more problems than Dray. Shorts can run and throw :)

He wasn't better than Joseph. He just had a hot day.

Man real talk, you dudes scare me by saying yall think Dray was the best thing yall ever seen (not yall literally saying that but making mentions of how much weight he held) Lol...and as you know I at times 'during' the season..I posted in threads in our games on how sorry of play dude had...LOL..so all this Dray was our savior and this and that really has me to think if (I) think Dray was horrible and he beat yall like that or put somewhat of fear in yall (and he couldn't run), and I've 'seen' the others that's coming behind dude and think highly of them...then that's scary for the SWAC.....Has the stats been posted of those dudes spring games in this thread???

Again Dray had good games, but when he struggled he struggled bad...and I at times (Me again) didn't/or hadn't put that much stock in dude like how yall are doing

Who posts practice stats? It aint that deep hell spring scrimmage is a damn scrimmage at the end of the day. Nobody is scared of dude because he can run… he cannot run the ball into the receiver's hand. Can he THROW better than joseph? Stay was a good qb, he progressed very well. He went from competing with jp to leading the team. Yet you want to "convince" us that the youngsters will pick up where he left off because he can run. We not scared lmaooo

Umm alot of ppl post practice stats, they look at those numbers Lol...it's deep enough...Lol....you're right...don't be scared...
whatever, I'm just saying that yall putting too much stock in Dray where as though (to me) dude was just an average level C minus QB, lol, but yall making it like dude was killing the SWAC...

LOL!! I'd rather face a running QB than one who can sit back and hit his receivers like that PV QB. Plus a running QB is likely to get hurt along the way and you can stack the line against such a QB.

Now you talk down about the first QB to get you a title in ten years? How ungrateful. If he was that bad, then your current QB should've surpassed him but he didn't.
As far as keeping PRACTICE stats, who does that? LOL!

A mobile QB presents problems because of their ability to extend plays. Plus, we are loaded at RB so he won't have to run. Oh well.

75% of PV's passes were screens. That's Orlando's offense lol.

My guess is jsu will have a 6-6 season at best. 4-8 is more likely. I am guessing the 4 wins will come over the Lincoln (are who ever they are playing sub FCS), TXSU, UAPB, Gram...

Loaded at RB?? :emlaugh:

He is being honest.......The offensive line will be better also. That offense is going to be dangerous (if they continue to put in work during the off season and don't get the big head).

Ok. When is the last time Southern was in the Top 5 Rushing in the SWAC?

Everybody is a beast to you. LOL

I give props when props is due. It doesn't matter what school a kid goes to.

P.S.

Don't be a hater all your life. It's not healthy for you. If you would like, I will invite you and your family to the Jackson Medical Mall the next time I am in town to lecture on the dimensions of health.

I don't know, the kid from Florida is really good. But Thomas has been Willie Quinn-Ed  . Thomas has the potential to be really good though.

I believed that he was one of those kids who needed to get out of New Orleans in order to focus on his career. I was shocked when he picked Tulane over Michigan and Arkansas. He is a "book smart" kid , therefore he most likely looked at things from an academic prospective. He might play baseball for SU as well. He was a slugger for the Purple Knights, but ya'll know Tulane wasn't having that. Thomas will be an All SWAC player, "if ya'll use him correctly". (I know SU won the SWAC title, but I still believe SU's coaching staff is suspect.)

I wanted him to go to Grambling so very badly and even sent a pitch his way, but I believe Tulane CB/beast Lorenzo Doss might have pushed him to play for the Jags. (I wonder F'n why!) Lol!! The kid is a NFL prospect. It's just a matter of ya'll keeping his head on straight. Renaldo played in 14 games for the Green Wave and had 17 tackles, a fumble and pick. I think he only started in about 3 or 4 of those games!

Odums has gotten a nice deal out of this kid. His best game at Tulane was against ULL. Although the Cajuns will be too much for the Jags this year, Thomas will be extremely helpful to the SU staff because he has seen everything ULL has to work with after facing them in 2012 in Lafayette, and in 2013 in the NOLA Bowl.

If ya'll SU folks didn't know, Renaldo is Chad Johnson's little cousin.
