NCAA Tournament ............ UPSET CITY so far!!

I was concerned about Ohio State-Dayton. I was very concerned about Harvard-Cincinnati.

I was too. Thad's assistant is the Coach at Dayton. Plus we have not shot the ball well this year. We have no outside shooters. Honestly this team overachieved early in the season then reality set in.

Cincy was not the same Cincy they have been either.

North Dakota State knocks of the Sooners. Their athletic program is killing it right now.

Welp...there goes my shot at $100,000...now I just hope everybody gets upset

And you're right about their athletic program...that success in football is beginning to trickle down to the basketball. Just looked at some of their basketball records over the previous decade or so...they were mediocre at best with a couple of exceptional seasons sprinkled in there

Now im hoping a 13, 14, or 15 win to knock everybody brackets into shambles. No billions for anyone

More upsets to come, those big school teams are not good as the pollsters make em out to be.

One and done school talent vs mid-major group talent that keep players together for 3 and 4 years. These GOOD schools that keep their teams together for 4 years are catching up. Any given school might not be able to maintain this over years but as long as ONE AND DONE is in tact, there are going to be more and more "upsets" each year.

That's why I think even the SWAC stands a chance in getting in on this as long as we can get some good coaches and talent in to improve across the board.

As long as these BIG schools keep selling their souls for these one and dones or two year players these upsets will keep occurring

I give this "one and done" mess 1 more year and the NCAA / NBA is going to get together raise that to at least 2 years removed from Highschool just like the NFL do. The NCAA is not going to let the "BIG BOYS" kill themselves while these small schools with non-first round NBA talent keep players together as a team for 3 and 4 years.

One and Done has finally reared it's true ugly head to these traditional powerhouse basketball programs.

You literally took the words out of my mouth with this. I just said/thought this

That has nothing to do with it. Duke has one NBA player on its team:Parker. The rest are upperclassmen.

What we are seeing is a by-product of better coaching starting at the youth level all the way to college. Kids are playing and being taught basketball more than ever. Also, these players at mid-major schools are accustomed to playing against kids who wind up at BCS schools in high school, summer leagues, AAU and in basketball camps. There is no fear.
