CONGRATS on accepting the invitation ASU. If I'm not mistaken, your whole team will return next year so they can only benefit by participating. REP THE SWAC!

for the 1st time, i don't think he was hating. I know the ncaa take care of everything. I thought you had to pay for expenses as well for other tournaments especially the NIT.

You really can't tell when he doesn't know any better or when he's hating.

Ya'll just don't know what hating is. IF I was hating, I would have took what I THOUGHT I knew, looked it up and threw it in your face. However, I recall that SUs women got an invite a few years back and they turned it down because the tournament was not paying anything and SU at the time could not afford it or was not willing to spend the money. If I am recalling incorrectly, please correct me.

I really think you all need to help my hatin azz out. I don't think this tournament pays for ANYTHING. Its just to give teams an extra chance to play if they choose to.

If they are not paying for game day expenses, I am sure they are not paying travel expense.

The 32-team CIT requires a $30,000 guarantee for hosting each round. Game-day expenses are approximately $10,000, bringing the three-game total to $120,000. Selig said that ODU generated roughly $75,000 from its tournament participation.

the CIT pays all expenses for the road teams in its tournament. Sounds like a win-win for those programs.

I saw the Hornets in the Atl airport last night. They look young, like lil kids. And short.:lol:

I think this might be Lewis' best job. They won 19 games.

Well maybe the SU women turned it down becasue they were supposed to host. Also, your into may not be reliable. I still don't see the rationale behind them not paying anything for the host team but paying the visiting teams expenses. How does that make sense?
