After 30 years without a football program, from 1969 to 1999, they decided to bring it back in 2000. I believe when they started losing every game in the 60's, they decided to do away with their football program. Now Dennis Dunn is trying to make them a DIII powerhouse. And with them scheduling Alcorn, I'm pretty sure they are looking at making a jump to DII. Mary Hardin-Baylor in Texas is the team they struggle with the most in their conference.

We've become homecoming bait for GSU, TXSU, and now SU!:(

I STILL stand by my statement that Alcorn can fall anywhere between #1 and #5 in the EAST. Alcorn is not that good. Don't let the win over JSU fool you. And what rankings do you speak of in your signature? The fact that you were the #3 team in the EAST? :lmao: You gotta go to AAMU.. you know that right? Oh well. BAMA State gonna smoke ya'll again and JSU won't be playing with ya'll this year.

That's a good thing because most jucos in Mississippi would beat the crap out of JSU and that BS y'all call football. Teams like East Mississippi and Mississippi Gulf Coast would wreck JSU. They have better athletes and better coaches.

JSU is in no position to try to look down on junior colleges or any school that plays junior colleges. Worry about all of these losses Mudbone is getting ready to pile up.

Dude, ya'll may not even get outta Itta Bena. You also have to take into account that Alcorn did well last year because the conference was down. That is why SU won the conference. But with seemingly better staffs at PV, JSU, AAMU, Valley and Grambling, you will have your hands full a lot more this year.

Alcorn has done NOTHING to get better.... 'cause that inflated record got ya'll thinking ya'll good. Oh well. You were #3 in the EAST for a reason and you lost to the #4 team and barely escaped the #5 team.
