Right....we know allll about rick lol aint shit you can tell us about him. He does not have new tricks in his bag, he will continue to hire his non coaching azz friends. He will still try to out talent teams, he will still do coach speak etc. Allll we were saying was good hire for valley but do not dare act like he was the best lol. We have known rick and co. for 8± years, even this nice signing class does not surprise.me. Yall think we are trolling but we were just giving you the heads up on rick and how he nuts up in big games ie mvsu @jsu 2014 do not get your hopes up.

One thing they are forgetting is the Comegy and staff will be up for JSU but Jackson and staff will have a team full of players who will want to to stick it to Comegy and Hayes.

Are you sure about that TP? Those are players Rick recruited. It ain't like he left them on his own. He got fired. Don't know if I buy they want to stick to Comegy unless it was players he mistreated.

Bruh, you just don't know. I'm surprised your barbershop crew didn't let you know.

Our players are over that....been over that. Tell your barbershop buddies they have outdated info. They want rings first off but they want to continue to dominate valley more than they want to beat rick lol. Now our recently graduated players want rick to get revenge why? Idk lol. But these other guys do not want to lose against mvsu.

Just curious, did you j-stank fans get all this advice from Tuskegee folks when yall lured him away?:noidea:

These people aren't doing any solid thinking. They are in 100% defensive mode. When Alcorn busted them in the mouth and Southern U. kept them in their familiar Buffalo state, the humiliation of it all was topped off by hiring someone that should be in a rocking chair. Their posters are just trying to save face as best as possible. The fact of the matter is those two new coaches at the time (Odums & Hobson) served notice that they're not playing with those people....

Over the last eight years, JSU is 12-5 against a combined Alcorn/su coalition, so while he was here he did do SOME good. The numbers don't lie but people sure do.

Nice try. Difference is that mvsu did not have the funds to lure him away, we gave him away. Kind of like if you give someone a used toy, and you tell them how to work it.

Jackson State was 8-26 in 3 years before Comegy turned things around. If he couldn't coach on the field, he wouldn't have as many close calls and wins as he had at Jackson. There is no doubt that Valley is heading to the right direction. Comegy is a winner. At this point, that's all Valley needs to turn things around.

I really hope most people don't actually believe what they are saying on here... Valley will better than last year of course because they lost 22 seniors the year before and they had a lot of young players stepping in.

but neither here nor there. Frenchie, we were warned about Comegy from quite a few people actually. However, after 8 years of FCS, he understands the rules better.

Josh Banks is another nice pick up for the Delta Devils. He is a nice sized WR at 6-4 210. I saw his highlight reel and he looks like a very physical receiver with a "you're too little to check me" attitude after he grabs a TD or a big gain catch. I think he is going to be fun to watch for Valley. My sources tell me that he is an amazing athlete, but was not a high profile recruit because he was more committed to playing basketball. However, Comegy got him to sign. Maybe he will play both at Valley.

I've watched his highlight reel a couple of times... he's definitely someone who can get inside the red zone and play like Anquan Boldin (would not surprise me if he switched to tight end). As far as basketball, he has some OK stats but at 6'4 he has to grow a couple of inches (I'm gonna assume he will add a few pounds to play football) to pound with the bigs.

No sir! Ya'll need to keep him at WR. Valley needs a big aggressive WR who can "shake n bake" his way to a few more yards after the catch. A kid like Banks turns a 15 yard catch into a 20 yard catch. I like what I saw. Nice grab for Rick Comegy. He might be a diamond in the rough. Any 6'4 210 pound receiver with good hands can be a force in the SWAC.

TU don't have enough fans to tell us anything BUT you are talking about 8 years ago. Some of them did tell us some stuff (like he really just won with talent) but remember, this was before APR. If there was not APR Comegy would still be the king of BCF. This is a new era. We saw the man going 12-0 and beating AlaState, etc.. That was all we needed to see.

We could use another Tyrone Timmons or Paul Cox. We have done pretty good in the past with big receivers. Hopefully that will open up the underneath for ALL-SWAC slot receiver Julian Stafford.

Comegy must have heard me about line help. Newest signee,

Tristan Long*(DL, 6-4, 205, Pensacola, Fla., Washington HS)

Very nice kid. Cookman was going to give T. Long an offer, but decided to make the offer to 6'6 310 DL Derrick Johnson from Jacksonville First Coast. Valley is getting a very smart kid who plays very sneaky on the d line and is known for tipping passes. Nice pick.

Although I'm not a Valley fan, I hope Comegy brings a winner to US82. He won in Jackson and his firing was some shullbit for real. Anything that helps the Valley, really helps all of us. The SWAC needs all the talent it can get. Our football product has to improve. So if this helps Valley, we all win.

Keep it up, Bookman.. :tup::tup:
