You should have one signing from Tampa coming sometime today. My Line Bro's son is a DT from Hillsborough High that Burroughs is recruiting.

Frank Carter III. Trey Carter as we call him. His little brother (6'3) Zach is going to be a beast though.

Trey is also a great student. Honor student who had academic offers to a lot of places but wanted to play football on a football scholly.

Yep. He is a tremendous student. His Daddy and I pledged together and were crabs in the band together. Wife is a SU Jag alum as well.

When i saw his GPA, I didn't care what kinda player he was LOL. But he looks decent on film - he can be good with some coaching. I'm glad we were able to get him late after UMASS screwed him. We didn't offer him till this past weekend.

Yeah that was something wasn't it. I talked to his Dad about that recently. UMASS has been banned by the coach at his HS from coming to recruit there after that.

If the younger brother keeps developing. He is about 6'3 225. Taller and leaner. He will probably get some FBS offers. He just finished his SOPH football season I believe.

They fired their coaching staff over the crazy stuff going on and the AD called my LB and his wife late in the game to tell them they were pulling all the scholarships the one Assistant Coach had offered. Scandal of some sorts at UMASS. SMH.

My LB said there is supposed to be an article in their local Tampa paper on Trey's recruiting process. He said this was a nightmare as he was all set to go to UMASS and stopped taking calls from other schools trying to do the right thing in his mind. I can assure it will not happen with his brother now that they know how the game is played.

There's a CL article about it also.. I'll link it when i get back. Allen Suber(former BCU player) was the coach who offered him that got fired.
 
uhhhh no offense...but can we post about signees right now. Leave the bios for later. Sidenote* lyles had 6k career throwing yards.

Smart move getting Lyles RB to come with him. Helps ease the transition from Indianapolis to Jackson. Lyles looks good on film. Good pickup.
 
Shawn Bishop LB 6'0 220 Callaway HS, MS

This was a great pickup. Undersized but fast with a nose for the ball.

Yeah that is a good pickup. He will be fine for SWAC/FCS play at 6'0 220 for a LB. Speed kills.
