That's called fiscal responsibility. Sometimes you have to make prudent financial decisions. Something JSU is totally unfamiliar with or y'all wouldn't be paying $260K to a 68 year old guy who hasn't come close to proving he knows how to run a successful football program. :lol:

It's really a total of $310k. They had to buyout Comegy's contract and they still yet have to hire any assistant coaches.

A lie, that's called being dead broke.:lol: JSU hasn't cut programs in years. Heck, if our President didn't want to pay the man, she wouldn't have done it.
I tell you what though, we don't have to cut programs to pay for his salary like su did when Pete was there.:lol: You sacrificed the education of innocent students to over pay a coach who was in his '60's.

..and we are not crying about it... We chose all of those prices. We have the money.

We gonna pay our assistants well too. I guess you gonna start 5 threads about them as well.

Just making up isht. Damn shame you try justify this dumb hire by SU cutting a couple of sports. That was on our previous AD. Nothing to do with Pete. You of all people should know Mason got SU System running smooth.

It is profound. It's called basic football. PV might have been SWAC champs this year if they had any sign of a defense. But it's cool. They gonna wear ya'll out next year even without a defense.

I can bet you this.. He knows way more football than Comegy. I like Comegy becasue he is a recruiter. The man is going to find some talent but he is clueless as an X and O coach. We thought he was an X and O coach becasue he was outcoaching the Cole Brothers. In fact, he was not outcoaching them at all. He just had better players. When the players we have get some coaching, ya'll can hang it up. I only saw one interview of our players today and he was very excited and optimistic.

This press conference looks like it could have been a part of one of those old 70's blaxploitatin movies. Even the music in the background give you that feel. I guess this is going to be the "I'm Gonna Get You Sucker" tour.........

Honestly, I have been wrong about some predictions. I predicted GSU to be #1 in the West in 2012 and UAPB to be #1 in 2013. But when it comes to SU, you can check the records, I ALWAYS predicted ya'll higher than you normally ended up with the exception of last year.
