I don't agree with the route they are taking but i don't get paid to make the decisions. This (I supposes) is how the JSU football players association wanted it. I don't have ANY first hand info but if the rumors are correct, Jackson is only going to coach 2-3 years. Our coach-in-waiting will be on his staff to take over when he steps down. The JSU football players association seem to think this is the 80s and the 90s. They only wanted a JSU guy and some local people will be stepping up to help with the program.

However, regardless of the hire. Unless your name is James Bell, you will average 7 or 8 wins a season at JSU. I think the kids will enjoy a new and exciting offense. The offense we had last year was the worst thing you could ever imagine. We have everything in place to win the division again next year.
