Its apparent that POP has never been there. I've lived in Jackson and went to school at Valley. That name Itta Bena does not tell you the truth about that town. I dont know where all of those small town "Gangsters" came from but the yard "Valley" would have to come together to keep them "Itta Bena Gangsters" in check.

Some of those dudes had parents that worked at Valley and still didn't care about who they shot at or threatened on a daily basis. It was rowdy all the time.
 
All I know is that the "Big Buck" Social Club in ITTY BITTY is not a pretty scene....and the Waffle House is not much better....A couple of my SU peeps know what I'm talking about...lol

Man my homeboys who went to Valley from Callaway and Jackson in general told me some stories about up there. My old man told me about some of the encounters they had back in the day going up to that area. The Delta has always been hard. I keep thinking about the movie A Rage in Harlem (Pop goes the Weasel) LOL. Them cats from the SIP were gangsta.

Delta folks always had a rep of being hard/crazy. If you told folks you were from Clarksdale or Greenville, you got a side-eye real quick. :lol:

No it was the "Big Buck" Motorcycle club, they all had on Motorcycle jackets. Had their own rap song and everything :lol: . They remade Hey Bay Bay. Hey Big Buck :lol: . We leave the club, didnt see not 1 motorcycle in the parking lot. I swear that was the funniest shat I have ever seen :lol: . Boy the memories of going out in these SWAC towns :lol: .

No sane minded JSU person could be. I don't care how much love you got for your school or how much you try to spin this (and deflect this by clowning other school), this just looks bad (and smells fishy as some have said).

Oh I would have been pissed at SU if this had happened. Hell I wasn't totally on board with Odums but at least could see the ADs rationale and listened to Odums plan he presented to the search committee. Same with Stump. But at least these guys were currently in football and not removed from the young folks like talking about. Hell Odums is a 97 Grad of NCCU so he is a late 90s cat. LOL. Don't believe in hiring these old guys especially from the golden days of the 60s and 70s to coach these kids and be able to recruit. Maybe he will hire a young staff. He is going to have to.

Well i'm glad my homeboys that went to JSU are real. They are p!ssed off lol I think this situation is worse than when Doug came back to Grambling, at least Doug "had" a winning record but Geritol Jackson doesn't.:lol:
