Not only pissed but shocked......I have not spoken with any JSU alums who do not respect Harold Jackson for all of his accomplishments at JSU and the NFL. He just wasn't the sexy pick that was expected. Regardless, he is the choice and we wish him the best except the AAMU game.

But what this thread is about is what ya'll missing.

Valley is about to be #2 in the EAST.

Valley can't beat JSU so our spot is safe at #1.
AlaState can't beat Comegy and Comegy owns AlaState.
AAMU might split a few with Valley cause Comegy owns them too.
Alcorn is gonna lose to Valley. They barely beat Valley this year AT HOME. Now with Comegy, their daddy, coaching at Valley, it's over. Also, Alcorn only wants to beat JSU and SU so they bout to lose to AlaState, AAMU and Valley. Alcorn might be last in the EAST this year.
..and SU, you in trouble too. Ya'll were just a step above Valley anyway. Now with Comegy at the helm, it's bout to be on!

There was nothing untrue in my post. Comegy owns SU, Alcorn, AAMU and AlaState and its not even by a close margin.. its something like 23-9.... OWNED.. lol But that's why he got fired. It should have been more like 28-4.

As sorry as bell was he won 3 games in the swac...comegy had 1 losing season. You can win in the swac!!! If he knows x's and o's he could win the scg in his first year ----> Odums send help!!!

Neither was a 68 year old man. SU players love Odums. Plus he was already on staff. This season was his third on the bluff. Harold don't have 2 years to win. Who is going to recruit for JSU. I respect dude and he is an outstanding person. But his hire is several years too late and it looks like he is filling in until the real coach gets hired based on some of your alums understanding. Bad move. Should have hired Hughes from Ms State.

Hughes was not satisfied with what we had here....so no we should never hire someone who does not want to be here!!! A beat-writer asked our admin at the alcorn bball game about Harold Jackson and they didn't know anything about the "hire." Yall are getting your panties in a bunch over this hire why??? Antonio knight is recruiting for us and will probably be retained by the new coach. I don't know why yall keep throwing his age around like comegy wasn't too far behind. Comegy will tell you first hand that a HC does not have to run with his players in order to coach. Can he write plays is all I want to know! But I am confused as to why everyone is worried, especially since everyone knows comegy has problems with big games. Yall clown everything jsu affiliated until they leave, everyone at jsu is sorry until they leave. Then they are great!!! I like Harold because I feel that he can coach, nobody hands out nfl gigs, he is a respected guy. I can't bash whoever we hire until the first game. *shrug*
