Well NOBODY wanted to coach at Southern. Hopefully we got one of our top two choices and don't have to do like SU and hire the guy that they gave an courtesy interview to.
 



JSU.......This is a very important hire.........do not take too much time, because the clock is ticking to signing day 2014........plus, the new coach will need to hire assistant coaches.

We don't have a problem with people wanting to coach in Jackson or with students wanting to play at JSU. JSU is the biggest stage in BCF.

u do know u have never been to SWAC Championship nor have you won one, and the opportunity for u to win one might not come for a while....u might wanna win something before u come talking son...

The New Orleans Saints have went to one Superbowl and won it. Folks remember them winning it more than the number of times the Buffalo Bills participated.

Like I have said numerous times, a Head Coach is only as good as his assistants, players, but more importantly, scheme.
 



I hear Hopson and his entire staff is ready to leave Alcorn for JSU.
They're looking for better facilities, higher pay and a real fan base.
Hopson applied and is waiting to get picked. If it happens he's jumping on the 1st cow out of Lorman.
They recently interviewed b. Jenkins & today it was H. Jackson so I doubt they call Hopson in for an interview now that they're wrapping up the interviews.

I guess u don't know where Hopson family lives in Vburg...He lives on a ranch...What a big dummy...Im sure he don't want to go to the ghetto.......Real base yeah we'll see..ur fans already hollin bout not going to the games...Hopson is quite happy on the Reservation.....better facilities, that dump aint the same since the state gave JSU control...that was evident at the game back in Nov.
 
I have heard through the grapevine Viv and Meyers said no to potential candidates and are simply interviewing others to say they tried before hiring THEIR pick. It's just a rumor.

Dude, your stadium has not had a renovation since it was built. It's pee stains there from 1993.
