Swac Basketball - 1/4/14

If a team's not a good shooting team from the field and then struggles at the free throw line, it will be hard to win come tournament time.

Who said we weren't good shooting from the field? It's pretty much our free throw shooting. A minimum of 10 points we throw away every night. Looking at the AAMU and JSU box score, both teams shot well from the ft line.

SU and PV's men's teams played sloppy, IMO. PV seems to a jump-shooting team and their half-court offense looked to be the point guard penetrates and then kicks a shooter on the perimeter. Jump-shooting teams aren't going to win the conference.

SU in the half court seemed to bog down at times, but lost several rebounds to PV despite being the bigger team. They gave up entirely too many second-chance opportunities to PV and almost lost because of it. Hyder and Banks didn't get in the paint enough for my tastes against the PV zone and PV man defense in the game.

Bottom line, we got out of PV with a win ... the season's a marathon, not a sprint.

That's not how it sounded on the radio, if PV missed a shot, the ball was going the other way to SU at least 80% of the time. Also the PV game doesn't let you know where you are at because PV has the worst coaching in the SWAC :smh:

Glad you said this.

I could care less if su won or loss this early in the season and where did I comment on su in THIS thread other than now. I'm more concerned about MY team than another team's loss or win unlike some of yall.
JSU simply has mind control over some of you. It's clearly showing.

You don't believe that shat yourself :lmao:

I just want to know why you called Jaguar Journal yesterday :smh:

Dam man, football season is over with....we're into basketball season now....

Get over it and stay focus on what season it is.

I thought you were smarter then that, because it's really not that serious with jayrob. He's always saying something out of order. He really thinks jSU has mind control over all the other SWAC schools, which has nothing to do with basketball.

Also, I noticed that you deleted my post that had everything to do with basketball, which basically said jSU should have played a certain team before they got into conference play in BASKETBALL. But I guess you pick and choose what you THINK is appropriate. I'm sure their crying to you might also have something to do with your bias opinion.

Ya'll be giving the coach a hard time. Ya'll do at least have some talent on the team to compete with everyone.
