The Baptist college coach even said su was full court pressing:
"We lost to Southern last year by 54 points," Capaci said. "That's normal. They didn't press us the whole game and we scored quite a few points. I don't know why that happened this year. I don't know of any bad blood between us. In fact, I told [Banks] before the game that when they played Gonzaga in the NCAA tournament last year, we were all in front of the TV cheering Southern on. I'm not upset with him personally. I shook his hand after the game. It was just abnormal for us to face a full-court press like that."

Jayrob that "coach" obviously doesn't know what a press is. He is equating playing ANY defense in the backcourt with "pressing". I can't remember the last time SU actually pressed.

I hasten to say, no one remembers the name of the our SWAC school who made this new record now...and definitely won't after BB season is over. Another stat...how can the entire SWAC look bad from this? And why are we always trying to create a new burden for our shoulders to bear. Man, this was passing news...if SU gets whooped by 100 we will talk, smack, etc and life goes on. Quit saying one person's/groups action doesn't judge for the whole and in the next sentence take on the one groups action as the whole group to suffer consequence. UGH!
 
This team must've been worse than those Canadian teams they played in the summer. They didn't come close to beating them by 100. And all those NAIA schools in and around BR and he couldn't find anybody to come to Scotlandville? Well, now that I think about it, he may have a point. I can understand other folks not wanting to make that trip.:snicker:
