Tomlin gets a pass. The front office kept players that are too old on the defensive side of the ball. Secondary is old and slow. They have to rebuild and he will have his team in the playoffs next year.

Dude are you crazy? You don't fire a 2 time SB coach who actually has PLAYOFF WINS.

Hell, since he started playing HIS PLAYERS, they started winning.

BTW, How did that Mike Wallace thing work out for Miami. I think Antonio Brown is going to the PRO BOWL again at two positions. LOL.

He ain't going no where. They all figured out how to get the offense moving. Haley had to make some concessions to Big Ben and vice versa. The offense looked a lot better once the young folks got going.

They actually started playing the young guys on defense at the end of the year and went 6-2.

I think you will see even more of an overhaul in the secondary. Troy P started playing like Troy. But I think it is over for Ryan Clark. They probably should move Ike Taylor to Safety.

Jarvis Jones from Ga played lights out on defense and Cam Heyward stepped up this year on the DLine. Woodley will have to take a pay cut and I think Troy and Big Ben both said they will restructure their contract. Worilds, Timmons and Jarvis Jones all earned their way as young LBs. Need more draft picks and the OL actually played well in spite of Pouncey being out. Need one more WR though. Sanders ain't worth keeping. Like to see a another TE to go along with Heath.

I said the same thing. But now that everyone SEEMS to get along meaning Big Ben and Haley. I don't like Haley, but if they can co exist then we will see. L'veon Bell started balling so that helped. We need more young players though and get back to mean and nasty Pittsburgh football.

I think it's all smoke and mirrors. He got ran out of Phoenix, ran out of KC, and if he goes back to sink and dunking again, they will run his butt out of Steeler Nation.

I tend to agree. Haley is like Josh McDaniels. They are know it alls. Haley parlayed his family friendship being from Pittsburgh with the Steelers brass to get this job after they thought Big Ben was too tight with Bruce Arians and too reckless. They pretty much made Tomlin take him as the OC when the organization would not renew Arians contract. Big mistake by the GM. Actually this plays into Tomlin's hand since he had nothing do due with Haley/Arians fiasco. This all falls on the GM and maybe one of the Rooney's. If it is smoke and mirrors, the GM and Haley gone be the first fired. Should be interesting this off season to see if Big Ben still plays nice. He is saying all the right things. But I believe him and Tomlin both want Haley out of there.

You mean the same Todd Haley who got fired by the Chiefs when he was their head coach?
