JayRob, Get Ready and the JSU Mafia,
I don't get into JSU business, but as I've said before you guys are going to miss Comegy.
Oh by the way the last I saw was Odom 2; Comegy and JSU 1.
You guys should be trying to fine a head coach and stop concerning yourselvrs with the worm.
It took you guys some time to recover from losing to SU.
Right now SU is the best in the SWAC.
Live with it. It's reality.
 
Thanks for the advice. I'm glad you know who the new coach is because we sure don't. Congrats on locking up Worm for 3 more years.

So please explain where jSU is going to get the $75 million that is needed. I guess there would be a lot of fish and chicken dinners being sold. I hope there's enough people donating the stuff (plates, chicken, fish, plastic utensils, etc.) that is needed to raise that $75 million. And what honest person will be the one to take care of the finance as it's being raised? I'm sure jSU has a plan.

The man has taken SU to the SWAC Championship. That in its self is quite an accomplishment.
He also has a 2-1 record over Comegy and JSU. Others may disagree but JSU is for real.
I think his strengths are his approach to maintaining discipline, recruiting and his selection of a qualith staff.
The questions is still out regarding to his co-offensive coaching approach and him serviving as the defensive cordinator,
When it's all said and done the man has won the SWAC in his first full year as head coach.
Time will tell if he is a quality coach. For the time being until someone beats him he's the man.
His record speaks for itself.

The 3 previous SWAC champs. They all did what Odums just did and they're all either unemployed or should be. Its not wise to give an extension based off one decent season(you still lost 4 games). Youre gonna regret this move.
 
The really stupid part is they were bidding against themselves. NCCU wasn't about to hire odums and so what if they were. If he was ready to go let him. The least they stupid ass coulda done was wait until mid season to see how he does with his own players. But hey I'm happier than him

What gets me, if SU gives Odums $175k per year for the next 3 to 4 years and only achieved 1 SWAC title (2013) during his years as SU's coach, that would still be a lot less than a certain school has given a coach ($190k plus per year) for 8 years to win 1 SWAC title (1997). I wonder who they were bidding against when they kept that coach for 8 years and only achieved one Championship title.

They would have to sell 15 million fish plates at $5 per plate to raise $75 million and that is without having any expenditures. The population of the whole State of Mississippi is only 2.8 to 2.9 million. I can't only imagine how long it would take to raise that kind of money. If they could pull that off, they need to open jSU fish franchises throughout the country. :emlaugh: :lol:
