YOU ARE MORE THAN RIGHT, THIS YEAR GRAMBLING WAS A EMBARRASSMENT, THAT WAS THIS YEAR!! We are more than ever committed to the betterment of Grambling State University, over 100K was raised weeks after the boycott, our students are committed to passing a student fee to support athletics, and our budget will stabilize after than legislative session, all around Grambling is about to reclaim our place as the ICON, so while yall rejoice over a winning season, you will never be able to say you have a winning program, because winning programs actually win championships not 1 championship out of 5 tries !

I agree....

Thats a very interesting list. Interviewing for a job does not mean that person wants the job but I would assume that they would love to have Maynor. If the Maynor discussions break down, that is when things get interesting.

Maynor is capped out at 160K at WSSU. They probably don't want to pay him more now that they are going to stay at D2. So if he wants to move to FCS and stay in a playoff conference. He has no choice but to be interested in a MEAC job. I thought FAMU should have reached out to him but they had their choice with Holmes. SU did reach out to him last year but he wants big money. So if he passes on the NCCU job for a possible jump in pay and not have to move out the state, he is short changing himself. Unless there is another MEAC job he really wants. He has to do something. After awhile you take the chance your stock goes down if you don't strike while the iron is hot.

I think if they offer him 225 a year he is good as gone. Why stay at WSSU at that point? What other MEAC jobs are open right now that may be better?

OKKKKKK!!!! See, this is why I hate losing more than I like winning. See, winners move on after a win , no need to number crunch. BUT LOSERS??? Losers go in the past, while currently their entire athletic program is in shambles. Losers "share" victories that other teams won. Losers talk down to a school who should single-handedly sue them for every penny they have, GOT MILK? We are focused over here lol. As for odums, it really is hard to turn down your alma mater especially if the money is right....but I have seen coaches have loyalty to a program so who knows. Big worm needs to do what's best for big worm, bottom line.
Is this some type of sarcasm? If you all would have beaten us, you would be on here talking cash money. Take your L and sheeessh.

I never said he was a great coach but he is the best coach in the SWAC. No other team can match what he has done in the last 4 years. His record is like 32-12. No other school can match it.. most of ya'll like 12-32

HOPSON is the best coach in the Swac.

I see them White folks got some folks naturally trained. A coach that ain't won jack and can't even win his own division is supposedly the BEST coach? PLEASE!

we sorry for this ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Alcorn...but you have to control your emotions after a big win....

HOPSON is the best coach in the Swac.

I like that fact that Hopson is a sideline general. He knows everything that is going on with each phase of the game but he is not a Comegy yet! One year with an inflated record does not make a person a good HC.

LOL, low blow man. I think Odums is a good fit for SU. A winning SU is good for the SWAC.

Hush your mouth and shame on you. Don't let a particular group on here hear what you just said or they would start crying like babies over spilled MILK. :emlaugh:

Dang.. why you gotta crack on buckwheat like that with the milk joke. :smh:

Anyway, we all know that winning SU, JSU, and GSU teams are good for the SWAC.

That was not a big win...

Too bad certain posters from JSU can't seem to fathom that.

Don't winners win championships?
