It's my understanding that the SWAC (sponsored by Toyota) is paying each band a $15,000 appearance fee, plus expenses. That is the reason why the Grambling alums in Dallas and Houston are saying the band needs to bring its ass to Houston after they march in the parade in Dallas that morning. The parade starts at 10:00am. The game in Houston starts at 1pm. It was argued, that with the understanding that the band has to make the 4 hour trip to Houston, they could still get to Reliant in time to perform in the BOTB...even if it means them being the last band to perform in the lineup.
That game will be about 3 hours. There's no telling how long it would take for all bands to perform after the game. It might be a push, but logistically it is doable.
SMH SMH!!
B I T T E R R R R R!!
Who really cares tho? lolol
Someone cared to make an entire thread and you responded so you care lol, someone who really doesn't care wouldn't had responded. JSU folks are so bitter. Quite entertaining.
I wish this BOTB was cancelled. I honestly don't think any band should waste money coming to Houston but JSU and SU.
Bitter for Grambling's band (or any other bands) to perform after the SWAC Championship game...? :retard: Someone help me out... lolol
What green are they making? And if it's the money green, do you think they can share it with your AD department, so they can continue supplying the football team their milk?
You need to consider the sources. They always like that. :smh:Pleeeease tell me, what does JSU's band and fans have to be bitter about a broke Grambling band?
Please enlighten the masses.
F that, two seperate organizations, carry on.
The BOTB is being sponsored by Lowes.......
That's still a tight schedule not knowing when they would finish that parade. A bus ride is not the same as driving a car from Dallas, it's more than 4 hrs especially when they get closer to Houston on I45.
What about feeding these students after the parade? You can't just finish marching and then jump on a bus for a 4plus hr drive to Houston without any nourishment.
You need to consider the source, they always like that....
Ehhh...no...it has NOTHING to do with anything you said.
They can march in the parade, eat on the bus, take a nap, get to Houston by 4pm and march last.
