SWAC Commiss forcing Gram to Houston for BOTB?

That's still a tight schedule not knowing when they would finish that parade. A bus ride is not the same as driving a car from Dallas, it's more than 4 hrs especially when they get closer to Houston on I45.
What about feeding these students after the parade? You can't just finish marching and then jump on a bus for a 4plus hr drive to Houston without any nourishment.

Lets be clear here, Grambling's band is not that good. No hate just facts, GSU missing the BOTB won't stop anything trust me....
 
Actually none of your bands are sh!t field wise, only skits and nothing more, lets be real. No one in the SWAC sets the field on fire if you think they do you are lying to yourself and allowing pride to slap you in the face. I believe this lie about the SWAC Commishrying to force JSU Band was started by a JSU personmand it is simply because of JSU's spolied Homecoming out of pure bitterness. I notice JSU people are the main ones posting over something they feel is so wasteless but if one truly didn't care they wouldn't post The hate is strong in Mississippi lol. Yall hate on everyone and grown azz men at that. smh. Just like the BOTB's won't stop and will move on without GSU, SU, or JSU, Grambling will continue to perform and make green.

What green are they making? And if it's the money green, do you think they can share it with your AD department, so they can continue supplying the football team their milk?

I have always thought it would be better to have several local High School bands perform before the game! In fact, I went to the SWAC office and made that recommendation after the inaugural conference championship game! That would save travel money for our schools and promote local attendance from the invited high school community.

Oh and I started the thread because there was discussion about Gram not coming to the BOTB in the other thread that got deleted when the board crashed.

Maybe it does not but it should. If the conference, by vote of the Presidents, sanction an event, all schools should be required to participate. I guess they will have to make that stipulation clear going forward if they have all of the bands to come again.
 
All smack aside, Grambling needs to be present. It's a conference event. If Grambling doesn't see it as serious, then something needs to be done to them to make them think twice the next time they wanna pull a fast one. I'm personally sick of the excuses and no shows from not just Gram, but every other band in conference who's not serious.

Now I live here in Dallas, and I ain't heard a word about this parade featuring Grambling. I have heard the SWAC BOTB advertised heavily though with Grambling being named. Little wonder about which event truly rings bells. Now if gram is really about makin some money, then you'd haul arse and do both. Slaw or not, ur in the SWAC. Act like it. Nuff said.
 
My whole point is just "who cares!?!" lol

Honestly, um.. if Jackson State wasn't playing in the game, I wouldn't be opposed to our band not going... #shrug...
