What I Live By...
I'm hearing Duer told Gram if you can go to Dallas you can go to Houston.
Is that true?

Its funny how GSU supposedly had a date booked for Dec 7th since the summer but what would have happened if GSU had gone to the SCG? NO band in the SWAC should have had a committment for Dec 7th until their team was out of the championship hunt so GSU supporters need to come up with a better lie/excuse.
Duer would be right to make them come. Grambling needs to stop thinking they can do whatever they want to do and get away with it.
It was already understood that if the football team had made the SCG, that the band would not be in the parade. With that said, IF...and the keyword is "IF" the band does perform at the SCG BOTB, it will NOT be because of Duer. It will be because of a totally different reason.
I wish I could say more.
Which means they didn't have a solid committment for whatever parade this is.
If the GSU President VOTED for it, they should be bound and committed to it.
This is OUR scg...damn if they do, damn if they don't show up. Wouldn't be the first time.
We don't have to. Our team isn't in it. Deal with it.

Grambling band will not be in Houston. Duer and you all can bump gums all you want to. By the way the band isn't sports. Now its some alumni especially in BR demanding to go.
Oh I knew automatically the Texas alumni lolIt ain't just in BR. Add Dallas and Houston to the list.
I wish this BOTB was cancelled. I honestly don't think any band should waste money coming to Houston but JSU and SU.

It's my understanding that the SWAC (sponsored by Toyota) is paying each band a $15,000 appearance fee, plus expenses. That is the reason why the Grambling alums in Dallas and Houston are saying the band needs to bring its ass to Houston after they march in the parade in Dallas that morning. The parade starts at 10:00am. The game in Houston starts at 1pm. It was argued, that with the understanding that the band has to make the 4 hour trip to Houston, they could still get to Reliant in time to perform in the BOTB...even if it means them being the last band to perform in the lineup.
That game will be about 3 hours. There's no telling how long it would take for all bands to perform after the game. It might be a push, but logistically it is doable.
Who really cares tho? lolol
