But when I look at PB, they have yet to play JSU and has already lost to Bama State. PV has yet to play JSU nor Bama State. So, I wouldn't be surprised if the West champ has 3 losses.

The west champ will have 4 losses. I have no faith in PV...their defense is worser than SUs. They allowed A&M to get 500 yards....A&M? Come on man...I think PV will lose to PB Alcorn BamaState...SU will lose to JSU/Alcorn/BamaState(shootout, they have no pass defense)/PB. PB will lose to JSU but win the West with the tie breaking head to head win over SU and PV

JSU will go to the SCG undefeated in the sWAC to face a team with 4 SWAC losses, which is unfair. JSU will petition the SWAC and the NCAA to allow us to forfeit the SCG for a chance to go to the playoffs. We can let Alcorn/BamaState have that crap.

Yes....JSU has to get away from this awful conference. Nothing personal, but if you lie with dogs, you will get up with fleas. JSU has to do better than the SCG and the SWAC.

But Ima tell you though...you might want to be more concerned with Alcorn. They looked kinda good against PineBluff. They
only gave up 16 points whereas BamaState gave up 39. Plus Alcorn turned it over 2 times going across the goal line. I might
change my pick on this one. GR needs BamaState to win, but if yall lose your season will be OOOOOOOVER.

Who said anything about takers? JSU can survive on its on. Your problem is, you are too busy "thinking like a nikka." Always gotta run to YT or find someone to validate you. We have to stop thinking like that.

If we could get HBCUs to go with us, we could form our own division separate from the NCAA.

JSU needs to get away from this conference because it is bringing us down with it. Yall are pityful and you are known by the company you keep. We can do better, a lot better.

I don't know what the rest of the season holds for my team; I'd be lying if I said I wasn't concerned. But, as Coach Coleman stated, I too am more concerned with my boys than I am the rest of the conference. While our freshmen have done very well and produced big for us, we still can't seem to get them all on the same page; they're still not caught up with the speed of collegiate play. And we lost 2 veterans players to injury (one has a torn ACL-knee).:(:bawling:

I know we still have 7 more games left on the schedule, and 4 of those are divisional (the other 3 ain't slouches either), and this is a bye weekend for us (Lord knows we need to re-group, re-strategize, and re-energize), but I'm very concerned about my boys..........in more ways than one.........

Trust GR when he tells you that PB is the least worst team in the west.
Make your reservations for Houston on Dec 7th where you will face Alcorn if JSU is lucky

Nope. I know yall don't have the money to go do it by yourself. You would drown in debt or have to sell your souls to YT. Ain't no other HBCUs coming with you. You already think only JSU is worthy from the SWAC and if you picked up any MEAC teams not named FAMU, SC State, NC A&T and maybe NCC. The rest are either too far away to play you and will cost you a ton of travel money or they are in no better shape than the same SWAC schools you diss. So what will you have, maybe 7 ELITE black schools that the great GR will want in his conference.

See you folks think on emotion and bravado. Never thinking how you going to do it financially. The best JSU can do is join a PWC FCS conference and go from there just like Tn State did and hope your HBCU rivals still play yall. Because every JSU fan don't think like GR and some of us on the board who will just go see our teams play no matter who it is. The other thing is, you have no clue to how the other HBCUs not in the SWAC would feel about leaving the MEAC. They may feel like they have no reason too. They go to the playoffs already and why would any of them want to be in the conference with JSU and the two or 3 SWAC schools that you deem worthy to move with JSU to form this super HBCU conference and have to travel to Ms, AL, or Tx or LA or ARK to play football games. Your budget would be ate up. One thing you would enjoy though. You wouldn't have to worry about the bands anymore. They wouldn't be able to travel all over the country to play.

I am not even going to address a possible move to FBS. No HBCU is ready for that AT ALL. You can try to separate yourself from the NCAA if you like. Go right ahead. You know that fuggs your basketball program and other sports. They will say you can't compete in any NCAA event if you are not a member.

So again, where are you going? Independent? The OVC, SLC or the MEAC. Those are your only 4 options and only the SLC makes sense financially as far as travel is concerned. All this make up another HBCU conference ain't going to happen. The MEAC schools have no reasons to join you on your endeavors. No benefit for them at all.

You can't keep doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result. The SWACs formula is not working. JSU needs to get away from y'all because we are better than y'all. We have muuuuch better leaders plans and vision. We can't keep hanging around SWAC folks. Just look at y'all.

If I were JSUs AD today, I would announce tmrw that JSU is leaving the SWAC. Y'all keep complaining about the commissioner tv time uniforms recruits structure blahblahblah, but we do nothing about it. JSU has been carrying the SWAC for 30 years and I'm sick of dragging y'all along
