Trolling for what? The average stadium being built today is the normal half and half for both home and visitors side. I simply asked why not go the extra mile and get it all done at once.
Most folks know that once our school stops the initial building, it takes an arm and leg to get added on features and funding approval for it.
Just ask su how long it took them to get bathrooms and running water added to Mumford.

Outside of SMU who would you be referencing. WKU JMU both had recent expansions and both have large vs small sides. I wouldn't put anything past ASU with the pace of construction on that campus. But for now the stadium is perfect.

You're sure? And who gave you this inside information to make you so sure?

Dude, those stadiums were built back in the pre-1950's at that size when football wasn't as popular nor as lucrative. LOL!

It doesn't matter when a stadium was built, but those stadiums I referenced were initially built to support the size of their fan base back then (pre-1950’s) and they have since been upgraded to support the size of their current fan base of today. Unlike some schools, they didn't build a stadium that would be way larger than the size of their current fan base. Somehow I get the feeling that you lack the ability to understand the difference between current and future needs.

Below is the progression of LSU's stadium throughout the years:

Capacity (years)
12,000 (1924-1930)
22,000 (1931-1935)
30,000 (1936)
46,000 (1937-1952)
68,000 (1953-1961)
67,508 (1962-1965)
67,510 (1966-1973)
67,720 (1974-1976)
67,744 (1977)
76,092 (1978-1983)
76,869 (1984-1985)
77,542 (1986)
78,882 (1987)
80,140 (1988-1992)
80,150 (1993)
79,940 (1994-1999)
91,600 (2000-2004)
92,300 (2005)
92,400 (2006-2010)
92,542 (2011-2013)
±100,000 (2014-future)

When the stadium first opened, its seating capacity was 12,000, but after 2014, its seating capacity will be 100k plus.

Why are you comparing Bama State to LSU? LOL. Schools like LSU can add when they get ready but not schools like Bama State. It's highly unlikely that Bama State won't get an expansion anytime soon, which is why I asked the question of them not getting a home and visitor's side that's half and half.
How long did it take su to get additional funding and add-ons to Mumford? How long did it take to get bathrooms in Mumford? It wouldn't have taken that long for LSU to get what they needed, so why are you comparing an FBS schoos to an FCS school?

There have been additions to Mumford in every decade since the 80's. Additional seating in the early 80's, new press box in the 90's, and additional seating and new field house in 2000's.

How long will it take jsu to get that OVERSIZED domed stadium that was announced?

Wouldn't it have been better AND cheaper if you could've gotten most, if not all of that, on the front end?
As far as the dome is concerned, that's my point even more. 50,000 is more than enough seating for JSU and other scheduled events. It's called PLANNING AND VISION.

It’s way beyond more than an enough. It would be a total waste. jsu doesn't have the fan base to support a 50k domed stadium. Operations and maintenances alone for a building that size would cost more than it could generate, which is why you build accordingly to your needs.
