NCA&T's Broadway Has Already Confirmed He Is Not Leaving For Grambling

Real Talk...Prez Jones is sacred to GSU. He is damn near more important than the founder of the university to some folks. The only memory I have of Prez was when I joined the church and he came and sat next to me and watched me fill out the paper. The next memory was how the church placed a black cushion in the spot he sat in church...that thing stayed there almost 10 years...

After "Prez" passed away, his daughter took over with her big stick. Did you ever get a chance to feel the power of her big stick? :emlaugh:

I guess Charles P. Adams was too much of a Tuskegee man with South Louisiana roots.

But on a serious note, Southern is not that much different than Grambling. Southern has named more buildings on its campus after the Clark family than any of their founders. Southern just recently named a building on campus after P.B.S Pinchback, the country's first Black governor for approximately 35 days and one of Southern's founders. The P.B.S Pinchback School of Engineering building was named in his honor. There were at least three buildings I know of on Southern's campus that were named after some member of the Clark family (husband, wife, and son) who also were buried on the Southern's campus located near the Red Stick Sculpture next to the river.

Truth be told I don't think Juluke wants to be at any FCS school.....

LOL. That ain't true at all. Now if he becomes a Coordinator at a FBS school or even a position coach at a bigger FBS school than La Tech, then it will be hard to get him to come to FCS because of the pay. See Calvin Magee (SU) @ Arizona with Rich Rod and Vincent Brown (Valley) who is at UVA under Mike London.

Sean Wallace

Ahh the memories. Pete inherited some serious talent that Kimble and Casem had recruited. Walk right in and started kicking arse. All they needed was some coaching up. He should be there tomorrow for the 93 Team recognition with Pete

He got a shot for one season I believe with the Arizona Cardinals. SU great Aeneas Williams was already on that team in Arizona. Sean was only 5'8 so I think that played against him back then. Those were the days of the big sized safeties like Atwater, Lynch, Woodson of the Cowboys and others.

LOL @ the highlights. Wallace was a fool. We need some players like him. Dude was relentless to a small guy. From New Orleans and straight tough.

Mama Fi had that stick and Aunt Toot was cool....:emlaugh:

I heard she instantly changed a lot minds with that big stick. Especially when those minds weren't thinking the Grambling way. Also, I heard most of the time it only took one lump to get everybody on the same page, but if need be, it sometimes took two lumps for those hard head jokers. She definitely kept Prez's legacy going. For a while, I thought TD1908 was trying to pick up her stick. :emlaugh:

Mami Fi was a sweet lady....she loved some GSU!!!

I think you guys have gotten your signatures mixed. He's talking about Prez Jones daughter... Wasn't Mama Fi Pesident's Adams daughter?

I never met Prez Jones daughter. Met his son. I thought Prez only had a son. His son sold GSU the land to build the apartment style dorms across from the high school.
