Week 1 - College Football Scores

?????

They clearly play Texas A&M, LSU, Ole Miss, Auburn, and whoever they play in the SEC Championship game.

The only real test for them will be LSU and the SEC title game, depending on the opponent. Those other squads...not so much.

Now you know any SEC school can rise up and challenge them. As they say in the SEC, "you better come to play every week". If they do get lucky and win they SEC West, they won't win the SEC Championship game.

Meh.

They don't play UGA, Florida or South Carolina during the regular season. LSU will be their only true challenge, but that game is at the crib. And even if they lose, Bama has built up enough equity to get the benefit of the doubt in the polls.

They did play for the title without wining their division or the SEC.

Yes, but if teams like Oregon or Ohio State go undefeated or win their conference, Alabama won't be in title game without winning the SEC.

Clemson tradition of coming into their football stadium is none like I've ever seen before but it's real cool........

A one- loss SEC team will always get the benefit of the doubt over a squad from another conference. The only way an SEC team won't play for the title is if there are two unbeaten teams from another conference. That's the only way.

I didn't say anything about being a 1 loss SEC team. What I said, "they won't make it if they don't win the SEC Championship this year".

And it only happen one time in recent history. I bet it won't happen this season.

If Bama loses a close one in the SEC title game for example, you think those voters are going to be like, "we voting for somebody else No. 2?"

Nah, man. Bama, by winning three of the last four titles, supersedes anything else.

So you are saying if Ohio State or Oregon each losses 1 game, but win their conference championship, they are going to pick a Bama team that losses their Championship game over them. The SEC champs will most likely definitely get pick if they are ranked in the top 5.

In that case, no.

Any other scenario would be considered, though.

Technology is amazing. I'm watching the LSU/TCU game on the big screen, while watching the Grambling/AAMU stream thru the computer and watching the Georgia/Clemson game on the computer via sling box.
