Truth be told....

SU looks just like the 2011 Dallas Cowboys :lol:. Rob Ryan's 3-4 bend but not break...hopefully. Can score and get out to big leads but can't hold them due to no run game and passing leaving time on the clock.
 



While I don't think SU would be leading , the game could easlily be 21-13 UH with a couple of play changes/mitigation of mistakes. QB is playing well.
 
Y'all played pretty well SU. You can't stop the run or run the ball but that's ok.

Your short passing game might work in the SWAC

JR please. You can barely average two yards a carry. Houston's not that good on the line. You have the same exact strengths and weaknesses you had last year. Nothing has changed.
 
Gooden and darkwa had 50 yards and i know he is good for swac, he got nice gains against tulane. How is the running game going ?

Your offensive line can pass block but they can't run block. I don't need to watch another down. I've seen what I needed to see.
That RB for Houston is averaging nine yards a carry.

When passing is your strength, the defense automatically suffers as does your running game. su's coach has given up running the ball, yet JR says yall will be fine. JR's trying to turn water into wine. Seems like he drank a lot of it too.

I was about to say this. If any of our other opponents have a front seven like this group, THEN we'll have serious trouble running the ball. Looking at the SWAC, NwSt., and Clark, I don't see that anywhere.

What I want to see tonight is how we handle certain situations .... the score itself is secondary at this point.
 
:topic: Does Clowney have a breathing problem? I remember last year they had to take him out on the regular and last night he was winded alot.
 
Im pulling for su...thing about fbs at half time is they actually make adjustments because they hate to feel inferior to a lesser school/comference. Open the run game and protect your qb because they are coming for him

He was suffering with some kind of bug earlier in the week. I'm not sure if that effected him and he didn't allude to it in the post game press conference.
