I been said the city won't spend money to fix the Cramton Bowl only to let it serve as a glorified high school facility...when I saw the renovations...I was like damn, why does ASU need their own?

They had out-grown it. :snicker: ... and four blocks was too far for their students to walk.

I dont know man. You cant beat stopping by the Churches Chicken on the way to the stadium and bringing an 18 piece to the stadium. Crampton had bones and grease everywhere.

I wonder why Bama State's stadium was overlooked.

Aye MH...why did the state put $10million into Crampton after y'all started building your own stadium? Did y'all ask them to make the renovations in the past and they declined...or were you all never trying to stay in Crampton?

They could have at least put up some tents and a water hose for the football team to dress in. That stadium was terrible while BamaState played there. The players shouldnt have to get dressed in the dorm and then catch the bus to the stadium. The owners of that stadium were so wrong and they should have made improvements years ago. Im sure they have put locker rooms in the stadium since there is a Bowl game there now. This some bull.

Elephant in the room.

Nobody else will say it so I will.
Once they saw the "black folks" had moved out, the city leaders and their backers started pouring money into that stadium so they could make money for themselves. As long as Bama State was there, that stadium could have fallen in for all they cared and now it is showing.

Oh well................. let the war of Montgonmery begin.
Bama states Hornet Stadium vs the City backed Crampton Bowl for Montgomery dollars.

Crampton Bowl 1
Hornet Stadium 0

Maybe Bama's stadium is already booked with events and had to turn down the ESPN sponsored Bowl Game.

Yeah...you are right aout this
I was told they already have another one of these booked for that weekend

The innovations are coming big, bad and bolder. Yep, don't forget about the Legends Bowl. There will be others to follow at and around the New Hornet's Stadium. It's a social fabric built within the community. We're moving on and "ain't" looking back. Yall try to keep up.

Actually the renovations was announced before ASU released plans for the new stadium. ASU and Faulkner University said it wasn't enough and moved ahead with new stadiums....I'm glad the Hornets are home we played in Cramton Bowl 43 years.....

how does a stadium wuth no locker rooms get a bowl game over a stadium with all those luxury sweets?
whitefolks are evil

yes it is, but not like the big lots like at Cramton and Paterson

How do you build a supposed modern stadium without sufficient parking? How do you make one side of the stadium larger than the other and expect two neutral teams to want to play in it? Who gets the smaller side? Do they flip a coin or something? Who in the heck designed such a stadium?
