LSU Hill's Probation Extended

But wasn't he suspended the rest of the year last season after his arrest?

For the DUI. Nothing was done about the drug bust. Sports radio is calling Patterson out for this. Even here in DFW. Hill or not LSU won't lose to TCU

Patterson is a hypocrite. His starting QB was caught up in a drug bust and had a DUI. He's still playing.

The problem isn't that Hill is being allowed to play. The problem is with this weak move by Les Miles puting the responsibility for reinstating Hill on the players rather than publicly declaring that it was he (Miles) and he alone, who decided to let him play. That's what Gary Patterson is saying here. He's not questioning whether or not the young man should play.

I don't think it's a weak move at all. He deserves another chance and it's Les' business if he decided to let the team vote on it even though he suspected the outcome. Further it is his business and decision alone of the punishment he decides to levy. Damn Patterson. He just need to get ready for that ass beating in a few weeks. LSU isn't losing any season opener to no TCU with or without Hill. What that bum needs to understand is Alfred Blue started last year anyway and was injured. Blue and Hilliard would kill TCU regardless....I hope LSU beat the living shit out of those scrubs.

Hey JROCK, how do you really feel?

I still think some of you are missing Patteson's point (and my point). Who cares if Hill plays. Just don't call yourself the head coach, and then say "the players made me do it" when it comes to playing somebody. That's straight mess, and any objective person can see right through it. It took all they could do for the guys on College Gameday to not laugh out loud at Les. It was ridiculous . . . but hey, that's Les Miles. :smh:

Again, it is Les' business how he chooses to conduct it. LSU has played in 3 national championships the last 10 years. Who is he or anyone else to tell LSU or Les how to conduct business? I'll answer it for you, it's no one's damn business! That fart (and anyone else) needs to stay in his horn frog lane. :emlaugh:

lSU have become a safe haven for thugs and criminals. Saban wouldnt have tolerated this kind of behavior and sure wouldnt have pawn a decision like this off on the football team (his friends). The NCAA will come knocking pretty soon. Mark my words.

Casey Pachall was suspended for a good portion of their season wasn't he?

After the DWI arrest. Prior to that he was caught up in a drug bust and admitted he used drugs and they let him play. Sports radio has been talking about this all day.

"My whole team would vote Devonte [suspended TCU player] to be back on the team because they all want to win," Patterson said. "That doesn't teach life lessons."

I happen to agree with Patterson on this anyone who truly know me know this is my same stance when it come to our kids because I fuss when the TSU kids do shyt and I feel like they get a slap on the pinky it's ain't cute and it teaches the others it's that it is okay to act an ass and nothing will be done...it shows no structure or leadership and in life there is always leadership and I need mine to know that!

Uh-oh, you might be off the Miles High club now. lol jk

So What I am seeing now is that yesterday's report on what Patterson said about Les is not true and made up by certain outlets.

TCU’s Patterson sets record straight by sending LSU coach a transcript

TCU coach Gary Patterson sent LSU coach Les Miles a transcript of his Tuesday post-practice comments to show that national media outlets took a report in the Star-Telegram out of context.

Patterson’s comments regarding TCU defensive end Devonte Fields’ two-game suspension, which were in response to a direct question about Fields’ chance of playing in the Horned Frogs’ Aug. 31 opener against LSU at AT&T Stadium, were taken incorrectly by multiple media outlets, Patterson said.

Some, including a legion of LSU fans, inaccurately misconstrued Patterson’s comments as a commentary on Miles’ handling of star running back Jeremy Hill, who was reinstated to the team earlier this week after receiving an extension of two years’ probation for his role in a bar room fight in the spring. The story was regurgitated and dots were connected that weren’t there, creating a pseudo-drama pitting Patterson versus Miles.

Well if he was taken out of context, I apologize for putting him on blast. If not, never mind. :emlaugh:

Regardless of what Gary Patterson said or did not say, my position on what Les Miles did has not changed.

Damn Patterson, stop backtracking hell. Coaches nowadays want to backtrack. Do like Spurrier back in the day and just let it hang ALL OUT. I'm telling you to your face my Johnson is bigger than yours and there ain't damn thing you can do about it :lmao:. THAT IS COACH TALK.

Sooooooooo who's to say that Hill is playing against TCU?

Don't look for an accurate answer. He is the foreman of the hanging jury in this thread. Good thing this is not the wild, wild west and some of these people were on the jury, Hill 19 or 20 would really be in trouble. :emlaugh:
