best fcs recruits, 2013

No its not.. he has been a UAPB for like 8 years and ain't did nothing before last year. He backed into Bham in 2006 when the WEST was actually weaker than it is now.
OC Eric Dooley is the difference between the old PB with athletes galore, but had no clue on offense, and PB of today.

What's wrong with JSU's stuff. Maybe I was missing something. Everything looks nice around campus. Maybe time for a updated basketball facility. Don't the players use the Walter Payton Complex? Or is it just for the students.

I would like a bigger weight room, better football practice facilities, I would like to see a turf baseball field at JSU (Belmont UNiv and Vandy has one here top notch) I would also like to see every locker room on campus updated!

LOL. You should've seen the old weight room.

JSU baseball turf is excellent.

If PB keeps winning and his offense is dynamic. Dooley going to get a job somewhere. I really like Coach Dooley too. Good guy. He was one of my top choices for our job.

Somewhere JR, really? You know damn well he is going to be SUs coach in 2 years. You shouldve hired him thiis year but your AD made a huge tactical mistake by giving himself that hard deadline....oh well

Dooley didn't make the last cut for whatever reason. Wasn't anything to do with the timeline.

SU always has WR's. This group has a chance to be special. Potential wise they have a chance the be better than the 03 group. We will see how they progress.

You are right about that. As much I hate it, SU has always found some good WR's. That Chuck Baker kid is going to be a beast.

You cant say he didnt make the cut and then you ended up with Odums. Those two things dont go together. Your AD messed that up big time. I told you that back in Dec. He just wasted 2 years for SU. Hiring Dooley would have brought PB down to your level. He is a great recruiter, most of his good players are from LA, and he is familiar with the area. Inexperience is going to KILL SU on this one. We will see in 2 years

So Pine Bluff had a good offense last year?

Is that supposed to be the answer to my question? I think they had a better defense than offense and I think that the defense is going to be their bread and butter this year.

They have had better defense in the past but they didn't win jack. Their offense was very good.

I absolutely agree!

Love you 2 guys to death, and can understand your reasoning in thinking/saying Coach Dooley "made the difference" with our offense. But actually, my Golden Lions saw a major improvement (on the offensive side) when we had Jerry Mack as our OC (2010). We continued to improve with Coach Dooley (2011) and he started using a more spread offense (2012).

They won the championship for the first time.

We also were Western Division Champions in 2006, without Coach Dooley. I know you (and others) probably don't think that counts since a couple of schools finished in last place that year in the West. I'm not smacking, just posting a reminder.
