Pre-Season Coaches' Top 25 Poll

This isn't about Ohio State or Florida for me. Its about Meyer. The truth about him is slowly coming out . . . one player at a time.

One player at a time? So you blame him for Hernandez and Cooper? Come on now. If Urban was like Cooper, would he be 5 or 6 deep at QB with brothers? If anything Urban hated what he had to do at Florida which is why he bolted. LOL.

And I don't buy all this hate from Saban towards Meyer. Him and Saban both are great buddies with Bill Belichek. I think all the animosity is media buildup. They want Urban and Saban to hate each other and be this nasty rivalry. I don't by it. Now Saban may be mad at Urban because Saban's other friend Dantonio at Mich State is not really liking Urban right now due to him taking a few verbal commits from him.

It really don't matter to me if neither one of them really likes each other or not. Both are butt holes and you can tell they are. Now I am not going to blame all that isht that happened at Florida on Meyer. He didn't put a gun in Hernandez hand and tell him to kill ole boy and sure didn't tell Riley Cooper to call somebody a ni**er.

Cooper just shows you how the culture was down in Gainesville Florida. Probably why they treated Leak like they did and why they hurry up and rushed Cam off so they could bring in Brantley. Urban was pissed about that more than he let on. He never wanted to play that Brantley kid. That's why he bounced. Otherwise him and Saban both like the co-eds. But that is a whole different story. LOL.

Aaron Hernandez and Riley Cooper are both Gators, and both connected to Urban Meyer.

Deal with it.

You think Saban never had a player who did bad stuff? C'mon man! You know better than that. Meyer ain't responsible for what them clowns did. And you have to blame the U of F for allowing him to keep all them players who got in trouble. It ain't just on Urban. The President, AD and mostly them BOOSTERS who paid for some of them clowns to get out of trouble is really the root cause. Not just Urban.

Don't start acting like Saban is some Saint who has never had players to go get themselves in trouble. He has coached more than at Alabama. LOL.

Meyer didn't leave because he didn't want to play Brantley . . . he left because he didn't want to play Saban.

Even the white fans were like WTF with Brantley. lol

Russell is an idiot and McClain is crazy.

Cooper is a racist, and Hernandez is a serial killer.

Not much of a comparison there.

Man half the Alabama boosters are racists. So is Florida's. Cooper being racist fits in with half of the SEC. LOL. If anything Urban didn't fit in with them necks in Florida. As for Hernandez, dude did all his murdering after Florida. So I guess NE and Belicheck are the blame for financing that clown as well.

Those players that got in trouble at Alabama or after Alabama, I feel the same way. It is on them. Not Saban. No coach can predict what some cat is going to do. It wasn't like Hernandez had been arrested for gun play before he got to Florida. But you and I both know if AJ McCarron got caught with a gun, he ain't going to get run from Bama easily. He may get suspended for a game or two. If McCarron calls a someone a ni**er, he ain't going to get cut from Bama nor lose his scholarship. See where I am going with this. Them good ole boy boosters at Bama would be in Saban's arse.

Right, but I am sure Clowney would love to play Bama then. lol

You got to be kidding. Meyer left for 2 reasons and neither was Saban. LOL. You buy into that cat way too much. None of them SEC coaches nor Meyer FEAR Saban. Florida has enough money and boosters to have bought Meyer another BCS title. Had they let him keep Cam Newton. He would have beaten Alabama just like Auburn did.

I'm not so sure we know that yet.

He didn't kill anyone during Florida, Gainesville PD definitely have no problem arresting and prosecuting Florida players. Keep in mind Hernandez isn't white, and wasn't a key player with Florida until late 2008 and in 2009.

Well if the media and we don't. How the heck was Meyer and UF supposed to know. LOL. Bottom line he was not wanted by the police back in CT before he came to Florida. Now his off the field crap he did at Florida was a warning sign he was not right in the head. But like I said, them folks around the UF program had more power than Meyer. If they were so concerned, they would have demanded those kids get kicked out just like they did Cam. LOL.

I "shole" know Les don't. I don't think Les likes him very much. :emlaugh:

I agree. I don't think Les does either. LOL. And that's saying something. Les may be the nicest guy in the SEC outside of maybe Sumlin and Richt.

so a team that has won 3 of the last 4 BCS Championships is a fraud? Just because Ohio State runs through a soft ass Big 10 they some contenders now????

P.S. Yeah I've seen Bama's schedule. They play Va. Tech, Texas A&M, Ole Miss, and LSU to name a few, yeah that really compares to playing Northwestern, Purdue, Indiana, and Michigan..............

For what it's worth, Ohio State didn't waltz through the Big Ten last season. They won several games late in regulation or in OT. Nobody should expect them to breeze through the competition this year either.

Not this year. But in 2014. It is going to be some serious arse kickings given out by them.

I believe Ohio State and Michigan are in the same division or at least they will be win Rutgers and Maryland join the conference. Their dream matchup is Ohio State vs. Nebraska.

They are in opposite divisions this year, it's next year when they move to the division. There was a pretty big fuss about them being in opposite divisions initially and talk of moving the OSU/Michigan game to earlier in the season to avoid them playing on back to back weeks.

I think Ohio State is a fraud. Look at their schedule, they play nobody and will waltz into the BCS Championship game if they get by Michigan.

If you believe this you have got to believe that Alabama is a fraud too this year have you seem their schedule a trip on air force one to the national championship!

What is she saying then? I posted Ohio State's full schedule and just picked out a couple none conference games, but looked in conference and said they would only be challenged by maybe Michigan

I'm saying that if you really looked at Alabama's schedule they have been walked straight into the NC game

Opponent / Event

08/31/13 vs. Virginia Tech, Atlanta, Ga.

09/07/13 Open

09/14/13 at Texas A&M *, College Station, Texas

09/21/13 vs. Colorado State, Tuscaloosa, Ala.

09/28/13 vs. Ole Miss *, Tuscaloosa, Ala.

10/05/13 vs. Georgia State, Tuscaloosa, Ala.

10/12/13 at Kentucky *, Lexington, Ky.

10/19/13 vs. Arkansas *, Tuscaloosa, Ala.

10/26/13 vs. Tennessee *, Tuscaloosa, Ala.

11/02/13 Open

11/09/13 vs. LSU *, Tuscaloosa, Ala.

11/16/13 at Mississippi State *, Starkville, Miss.

11/23/13 vs. Chattanooga, Tuscaloosa, Ala.

11/30/13 at Auburn *, Auburn, Ala.

Now looking at this schedule tell me where it is that Alabama will have a hard time and two of the preceived difficult game A&M & LSU they have a bye leading into those game and the LSU game is a home game this is cream puff stuff if you have ever seen it...but I Am Just A Woman...what do I know!

BTW they play Ole Miss in Tucaloosa so that is not a hard game for them!

She is being like Daddy Les Miles and whining because this year they play Florida and Georgia. Acting like Alabama isn't going to play one of them in SEC Championship game.

Umm That's Big Papi:swink:...and yes I agree with him on the cream puff schedule they have been given the last few years!

Alabama Strength of Schedule: The SEC’s easiest schedule.

The Alabama Crimson Tide are on top of the college football world, winning two championships in a row (three in the last four years) and gunning for their third straight in 2013. And, oddly enough, the Tide also have one of the more favorable schedules in all of college football in which to navigate through. It couldn’t set up more perfectly – the bye weeks fall before Texas A&M and LSU. In 2013, the Alabama strength of schedule ranks dead last in the SEC.

My point!

While Ohio State's schedule is ranked as low as 105th, Phil Steele doesn't have Bama's schedule ranked in the top 125.
