Alcorn and Valley both are SUperior to jsu as it relates to NCAA basketball tournament appearances and just like a broke down slave master you tried to conceal and alter history. Care to take the Similac off of your breath sonny? :lol: :emlaugh:

He's using semantics TP to deceive his own su folks. They want to go ALL the way back to 1934 when it comes to football, but when it comes to basketball, he wants to stop in the '70's and not give JSU credit for conference titles. Just shameful, deceptive and HIGHLY disingenuous.:smh:

You didn't win the regular season, so how did su get the title? You backed into it.
Like I said, put an * by last season's team. Texas Southern were the REAL SWAC champs.

It REALLY amazes me to see you all continue to publicly admit that beating JSU made your season. Thanks for the honesty.:tup:

This is hilarious!!! Last I checked this was a BASKETBALL thread regarding the 2 best teams in the SWAC. Last I checked jsu wasn't one of those. LOSERS. :lol: :lol:

Face it Psycho, su took advantage of the misfortunes of Texas Southern. You backed into a title. Your SWAC title needs an * next to it. That's the bottom line. You didn't even win the regular season.:smh:

This isn't about JSU, it's about how su backed into a title that needs an * next to it, and now they bragging about it.:lol:
This is also about how Texas Southern had the best team in the SWAC last season.

Say what you want to say, but the SU-TXSU series was 1-1 in the season. SU won the SWAC Tournament and represented well in the NCAA tournament. These same JSU idiots tried to blast us because we believed our team could compete with Gonzaga, and after it was proven that we could compete they tried to belittle Gonzaga. In fact, we could have won the game against Gonzaga and lost in 5 OT to Wichita State in the next round, and they would still find something to hate about.

For all of us real sports fans, we know there is no such thing as backing into a TOURNAMENT TITLE. We lost 3 games during our entire SWAC schedule, including the tournament. 1 to 3rd place UAPB, 1 to Alcorn, and 1 to TXSU. The team earned its way into the tournament and did its job when it got there.

Dude, most if not all JSU folks were pulling for su, but when yall go off the deep end bragging and all and saying your coach is the "best" this and that after ONE questionable title, you crossed the line. This is why you're getting the backlash. Nevertheless, congrats on your *title*.

We can make that claim because we won the tourney and we beat TxSU once. TxSU can make the claim because they won the overall regular season and beat us once which is why the option was given for Banks or Davis. Where jsu fits into this I don't know. :lmao: :lol:

Backlash from only hating JSU fans. We finished in 2nd place last season and couldn't compete in the SWAC tournament, and won the SWAC tournament this past season with our coach. Why is it a stretch to say we have the best coach in the SWAC?

Now my question to you is why in a topic about TXSU vs. SU coach, why is JSU trying to fit themselves into the discussion?

That has a lot to do with jealous and animosity. I believe in basketball, it all started when S.U. denied jsu and Lindsey Hunter a trip to the NCAA Tourney after "we backed in" by whipping their azz in the finals of the SWAC tourney and claimed the 13th or 14th seed that they worked all season to get like a slave in a Mississippi cotton field during a humid summer. Things haven't been quite the same since. I simply believe it broke their spirit and some of them went off of the deep end. :lol: :emlaugh:
