The number 1 basketball coach in the SWAC??????????

It is obvious that Banks and Davis are at the top of the conference.
SU playing in Canada shows the jags are serious about the upcoming preseason schedule.
These coaches are raising the bar in the SWAC.
No one has mentioned APB coach. Those guys are serious on their home court.

UAPB is banned from the tournament but they are indeed tough at home.

How is that obvious? As far as your schedule goes, all of us have pre-conference games and tourneys.. What is so special about playing in Canada? :confused:

No, its in August. You don't think it will help a team playing 3 games 2 months before the real season start?

Regular basketball practice starts in October . Because SU playing in that tournament they will be able to practice in August.

You do realize the big time programs play foreign teams all the time in Canada and in Europe during the summer, first time I have ever heard of a HBCU doing so though. More than anything else the practice time in August will invaluable.

We should do it more. The only reason I believe they probably don't is funds. You're right on that practice time...invaluable.

Dude, you have no clue. Please stop the nonsense. I am sure Brent would agree that is a good move as well. Most coaches in the know have been doing this. The SWAC is just behind. SMH.

JR, that's all good but this is a 3 day tourney in August. I am sure they won't be given a whole lot of practice time for that. I'm not knocking it. Just don't make it more than what it is.

This is not as funny as you all's football diatribe but it's STILL funny.

I just want people to be real and keep it real. I don't even recall what the last one was about that I PUBLICALLY complained about it but i DO recall that it belonged in the private forum. No other schools start private forum topics in the main pages.

You all blow everything out of proportion when it comes to S.U. It would really be nice if you can just give props and just move on. This constant jealousy has got to stop. It just can't be healthy. You guys remind me of Cinderella's step sisters trying to slip the slipper on your big feet. :lol: :emlaugh:

This thread was about TSU & S.U. Please remember it is not difficult to just not read a thread. You're not forced to read and comment on threads you don't care too or have a negative opinion about. This is JROCK and I approve this message!

But he didn't say that. He was wondering who is better Davis or Banks. He didn't automatically say Banks was the best.
