What Do The Moon and Texas A&M Have in Common?

Good job on his part. Excellent indirect way to market an already big game. Sure wish these SWAC administrators and coaches of today would talk more smack. We need something to talk about.

Gotta feel bad for Sumlin though. Saban has probably posted a picture of him and Manziel in his office to throw darts at now...:smh:.

That was the College Football headline of the day......Getting hype and it's only June....lol

Its going to be some slow singin and flower bringing in College Station... Saban is going to walk the dog on Texas A&M.

Not if they can't stop the passing attack. If Alabama has any weakness it is there. I believe they are going to be a little weaker in that area this year. I would have to see both teams play a couple of games to determine what is going to happen though. BTW, I called that Alabama loss last year.

Texas A&M is Bama's second game.

September 14, 2013.

Bama plays Virginia Tech on August 31, 2013 and then has a week off to prepare for aTm.

Slow singing and flower bringing ....

:shame:

Sounds so familiar from what many Bama (SEC fans) said around this time last year.

I wouldn't get too cocky if I were you. aTm had to replace 7 starters on defense. If those players on A&M depth chart aren't ready to stop the run, LSU and Bama will ram that football down the aggies throat and the fall from grace will be swift and hard. :emlaugh:

TAMU = FLUKE they caught a lot of teams off guard last year. They have a been marked now, but its good to see A&M bring some Texas flavor to the SEC mix!

lol..........Yea that bye is saying they mean business. They and LSU normally have a bye before their showdown. :emlaugh:

Bama still has a week off before LSU too.

Click the link in my previous post.

LSU has done the same thing. A week off before Bama and Texas A&M.

A&M is going to feel the pain this year.

That is basically "How the West will be Won." LSU have to worry about Florida and Georgia though where these other two programs don't have that issue this year.

SWAC smack ain't gonna sell more tix..that game was sold out the last game of last season

when SWAC students smack people try to clean it up

Yep. I think LSU will have at least one SEC loss coming into the Bama game.

That doesn't stop them from spoiling it for Bama though.

True....The Georgia game is the question mark in my mind. If you don't catch Georgia the first two weeks of the season, they can present problems. I think LSU will put a "bayou beat down" on Florida next year though.

Should be a great game in College Station. Its gonna be a 2:30 pm kickoff - I wish it were in prime time like LSU @ Bama was in 2011.

Anyway . . .

Not taking anything away from Texas A&M, Johnnhy Football or (the state of Alabama's own) Kevin Sumlin, but they really, reallly, really benefitted from catching Bama at the right time last year. If you recall, that game was the week after the emotional, gut-wrenching, dramatic, last-second win by Bama @ LSU. Bama was clearly still on cloud nine, and (the players at least) were still somewhat celebrating the big win on the Bayou. That won't be the case this year. Saban and the Bama will be 100% focused for this one, and I predict the Tide to Roll to victory. It won't be easy. And it won't be a blow-out, but I do believe it will be a victory for the Crimson Tide.

Roll Tide Roll ! ! !

I would prefer that A&M/Bama game being one of those 8PM primetime ballgames too. :emlaugh: Oh well......

I really don't see it for LSU next season. They've lost too much and their offense is still garbarge. I believe LSU will lose to both a&m and alabama.

LSU has a very strong offensive line showcased by sophomores "Thunder & Lightning" and a stable of running backs. If LSU can't do anything, they can run the football down someone's throat and control the clock and line of scrimmage. All of the preseason polls point to Texas A&M being higher rated than LSU. However losing 7 folks on defense is not a recipe for A&M to beat LSU in Tiger Stadium (you "gone" learn  :emlaugh: ) To underestimate LSU offense would be a grave mistake. They also return a senior QB and both of his key targets. If there is any concern with me, it would be LSU defense. I don't think they will be as strong as the last two years on defense. LSU will NOT lose two western division games (apparently you've bumped your head). :emlaugh:

BTW, you people from Texas better be careful with underestimating these SEC teams. You can't be a one hit wonder in the SEC. That is "GROWN MAN" football. You've got to bring it every year.
