No beat writer for JSU at Clarion Ledger?

Don't need a beat writer to know whats going on at JSU lol. Although there isnt anything bad to say about JSU there sure isnt anything to brag about either. As far as football goes, yal will have an inexperience defense, a brand new center, 2 new o-lineman, and that freshman qb who broke his foot last year that yal have yal hopes on. Yea I know he beat the white guy for the spot last year and couldnt play due to being cleared late and his foot injury but this will not be yal year!

I prefer turning pages when I read a newspaper and not stare at a computer screen. Most newspapers have decreased in width, except the Jackson Advocate, Mississippi Link and the Wall Street Journal. The USA Today is like the Clarion Ledger, a shell of its old self.

Funny how so many non-jsu people "know" what's going on at jsu...lol they know our roster, transfers, depth chart and injury list better than our die hards. Our beat-writer will be here july 1st as was stated in March. Chill :popcorn:

I love sports and I inquire about all schools so dont be acting like jsu is the only school people be asking or knowing about. I swear some of yal act like yal are in the SEC or something. As he said in school daze........."WAKE UP"

If an outsider was reading this thread and knew nothing about that the SWAC they would swear Jsu is a powerhouse and have won more than 1 football championship in 16 years. :lol: :emlaugh: I'm pretty sure no one is keeping up with Jsu depth chart or anything else unless it happens to come up on TSPN (like that dome debacle). :lol: :emlaugh:

After that 0-6 shutout loss at home to VALLEY on National TV last year, safe to say nobody will make that assumption about SU. :lol:
 
Damn I forgot all about that game, you mean to tell me the school who brags about their athletes on a daily basis didn't score a single point against Valley?

Valley defense looked like the Baltimore Ravens defense against SU on ESPN.
Everytime SU got near the red zone, they ended up getting sacked back to mid-field. Valley is the reason BIG WORM is the head coach now. :lol:
 
Let's stay on topic. This thread is about Jsu beat writer and the Clarion Ledger. :lol: :emlaugh: Don't get upset with me because I've made a few observations. Let's just say I understand if the Clarion feels like Jsu doesn't deserve a beat writer....

That Valley game for SU must be like that UAPB empty Memorial Stadium game was for us. Don't want to talk about it or remember it. Only good thing about it, the coach got the ax after it was over. :lol:

Having a beatwriter didn't stop us from winning the SWAC baseball title no more than having one will help a certain school even come close to winning their football division.

LOL@bragging about a beatwriter. An ALL-TIME low for a certain school!!:lol::lol:

We won't have an inexperienced defense... and you will see that once again, JSU will be the most talented team in the SWAC. Alcorn gonna get that azz tapped real good as usual at the Capital City Classic!

You and many other blue bengals must be related Stevie Wonder & Ray Charles cause yal blind as hell......yal may wanna go to some practices or go see for urselves. Yal thought yal wore paper bags over yal heads during Bell era, just wait. Better yet yal might wanna get some of those ladies yal got playing summer football in that league to help yal

JSU has had the best overall record in the SWAC the last 6-7 years. What does that tell you?

Really man? LOL You excited about some HS recruits Alcorn got that may or may not show up in August. In fact, they might be walking on in Jackson.. :lol: The odds are in JSUs favor this year. We do lack depth on the d-line but you think Comegy not gonna bring in some good guys up front? You don't know Comegy. Our LB corp and secondary are solid and will be the best in the conference.

That tells me that since you all haven't won but 1 championship in 16 years and if true had the best overall record in the SWAC for the last 6-7 years, Jsus "Buffalo" perception has been earned and well deserved. :lol: :emlaugh:
