TBF is the man. LOL. Although I thought Compass would be better for the SCG.

If this is true. I can hear the rumblings now. LOL.

Maybe now we'll get the 800,000 fans at the game that everybody said would show up if we moved the game from Birmingham.

Where is baseball. Omar Johnson was just on ESPN 104.5 Baton Rouge. He just said there is no home field advantage in baseball. He stated the best team will win. But yet he acks a fool about the tournament being held in BR  .

Nah, I doubt that. But I do think if marketed right, you can sell Houston over Bham. But our fans would never pack Reliant. If it was at BBVA Compass then I think the crowd would be really nice looking in that place. What Reliant does is eliminate weather being an issue. But the city of Houston is definitely a better place entertainment wise than B-ham. Now Get Ready can come and not have to leave the same day. LOL.

To me, New Orleans would be the best central spot and Jackson next. But we all know those places are not going to happen for different reasons. Maybe JSU will have their domed stadium by then and it would be available. I got a feeling the SWAC office is moving to Houston as well. They must have gotten some major sponsorship to move from FREE B-ham. Toyota was the sponsor of the SCG. Maybe they will become a sponsor for the basketball tourney since their name is already on the Rockets arena. Houston is rolling hard now economically. Texas is taking stuff from everybody. The Gov been stealing companies to move from other states to Texas. LOL.

Great, I will be there no matter who is in the game. Now the SWAC Championship game will be a reward instead of a punishment!!!!!!!!

I don't have any details...this deal was supposed to be done in 2004 as CLEB and I was at the press conference with Robert Vowels and Oliver Luck...9 years later it finally works..lol
