Besides, the SWAC/MEAC games don't pit like teams with like teams. It's really the luck of the draw for that particular year. Usually the SWAC's bottom teams play against the MEAC's better team, but you don't seem to understand that.
If games would be played at the end of the year, that would tell a more accurate story.

If there's any coach that I wouldn't mind having a struggling record against, it would be against the premiere HBCU coach of ALL time in Coach Robinson. Now what's your excuse for FAMU and Tenn. State?

Now when you get molly-whopped on a regular basis by not one but TWO schools and you on here bragging?! Hahaha.

JR, we all know that, but since yall pulling sorry teams out of thin air, I figured I'd do the same but pull a GOOD team out of the mix.:lol:
I'm still trying to figure out how NC A&T got in the mix.:smh:

At one time, FAMU owned the MEAC.
Around the same time, JSU along with Grambling, owned the SWAC.
JSU and FAMU are the only two HBCU schools to have played against each other in the NCAA playoffs.
Anything else you need to know?

Now tell me why you bragging on lowly NC A&T.

No what is going on is JSU folks hating because the Southern fans think our team can beat Northwestern State. Just because everyone else in the SWAC is scared of whitey doesn't mean we have to be.

Let me help jayrob out there. It happened to FAMU in 1995 and his schools 1999. Two other SWAC West schools did the same thing to his school afterwards.

Because once a upon a time, you folks were on here talking like A&T would whoop the rest of the SWAC when JSU lost to them. I think SU took a playoff bound NC A&T team that had some FCS All American candidates on it in 2003 to the woodshed in Las Vegas. I remember the threads on how we would be beat down by them. Anyway, carry on. But you know damn well SU has done pretty well against OOC opponents in the MEAC the last decade or so. We have played FAMU since the 40s and yes they have owned us head to head. Same for Tenn State. But in recent history it has been way more even. Especially from the 90s to now. Hell even when I was in school we didn't get beat down on a yearly basis by Tn State. We were 2-1-1 during my 4 years there. As a matter of fact since JR was a Freshman in 1984, we have played Tn State 13 times to date and we are 6-5-2 against them. How about that Jayrob.

JR, you can't change the rules in midstream. It's not allowed. And whomever bragged on NC A&T, I'm not aware of.
What about that FAMU game when Billy Joe wouldn't take his foot off su's neck? Yall lost like by six TD's?:lol:

No, im seprating what the Greats did from these pretenders.. Then The SWAC took on anybody outside the SWAC and won, while post SCG you barely see us win a Game not in the SWAC.. So for someone to say we 4-2 vs a Meac School, when all 4 of the wins was pre SCG is not really painting a all telling picture

The game in BR most likely will be packed mainly with SU fans, because that other school's fans are too scared to travel to the Bluff.

So you are saying 1984-present is not a good enough for you? If they owned us in the past before 84. They should have continued to own us right?

BTW, going back to when ole JR was in school. We went 3-1 against FAMU. They beat us my Sr year in Tally Ho by a touchdown. Ole lowly SU of the 80s whooped FAMU 3 years in a row during my time. Since my Freshman year, SU has gone 11-12 against FAMU. So basically damn near a split. They got us by one game since 84. Been some barn burners in there too. So like I said it ain't like it has been lopsided since the early to mid 80s to now in their favor.

You aren't kidding, seems like all of the games against FAMU since 2000 have come down to the wire.
