U of Houston costs to rent Reliant Stadium this season

A breakdown of the financial terms of playing games at Reliant:

• $75,000 license fee per game.
• $85,000 facility expense per game based on attendance of 30,000. There is an additional $2 fee per attendee over 30,000.
• Quick “turn-around†field conversion for USF and SMU game will be determined.
• UH will keep all ticket revenue for suites.
• 1,250 parking spots will be provided for donor parking. All additional spots are $10.
• All parking and concession revenue will go to Reliant.
• 20 percent of merchandise sales will be paid to Reliant.
• SMG and Texans will promote game dates to respective fan bases to increase ticket sales.

The rental for Rice Stadium is listed at $115,000 per game; BBVA Compass Stadium is approximately $130,000 per game plus a $1.50-$3 ticket fee.

We should rent Durley Field to them for $131,000 per game.
 
they still don't pay their people like they do..Cynthia Cooper was making more than their wbb coach :emlaugh:

Reliant charges less for the LDC as UH had to appease season ticket holders, etc. for a somewhat less transition...

Maybe that's a good thing financially. John J Moore will take care of them if he is still alive. Lol.

That's one position. What do they pay their football and basketball coaches?
 
So my understanding is that it's pretty much less expensive to plya everywhere in Houston? So what's the reason we are playing them on a Friday night instead of Saturday?

There was already another game schedule for Saturday (Oklahoma St vs Mississippi St)
