SU Tennis Team Sweeps all conference team Wow

Jayrob is so blind he has not realized they haven't been beating SU in much the last couple of year. Let him remain clueless

JSU and SU didn't meet on the tennis court.
In the SWAC, the men played Alcorn, Bamma State, P. View and UAPB during the regular season. The rest of their matches was against teams like UofAlabama, USM, Ole Miss, Belhaven, William Carey, Georgia State, South Carolina State, Chicago State, West Alabama.

One thw womens side, they only played ALCORN in the SWAC.
The rest of their matches was against teams like McNeese State, USM, William Carey, SE. Louisana, Nichols State, UL Monroe, SE. Missouri, West Alabama, South Carolina State, Arkansas, Ole Miss, UL. Layaffette, Loyola, Xaviar, new Orleans, etc.

This is sad.

Will you non SU folks just congratulate SU's tennis team for their achievements and keep it moving?

For the second time, congrats Jags  (see how east that was)

Uhhh Cleb, congrats have already been granted twice. TSPNsports is not a myopic sports forum where folks think and say the same thing. When someone claims that their program is going to the top like it supposedly used to be, they'd better be ready for feedback to the contrary for making such a comment. Nevermind the fact that the comments coming their way are quite accurate.
We're all supposed to be quiet and accept it without rebuttal just because they're su? Not here bruh.

They may have a decent women's tennis team (minus a men's team), but they're nowhere near the top in all sports combined. That's my opinion and I'm taking that right to post it.

You mad huh?

They would hate me at SU as I would tell them I need to live in Opelousas...right there would be a problem :emlaugh:

Never said I knew Broussard like yall claim to...I said hypothetically speaking if they put money and a guaranteed contract on the table

no one is entrenched in the SWAC

They have a bunch of Broussards in Houston from his neck of the woods that are doing well. You would get tired of driving two hours a day. :emlaugh: I commuted from New Orleans to Gulfport for a minute and it gets old particularly when one has to work late. I do know a guy that worked at DOL in BR that commuted from Opelousas to BR for 25 years though.

where they life-changing and tax bracket offers? Doubt he would be a big school assistant when he has been that for quite some time and making a lateral coaching move isn't good career wise...so its easy to see why he stayed plus he can prove next year if this year was a fluke or not to enhance his resume'.

I drove 45 minutes daily...what's new?

A fluke? He took over a team that won like 4 games the season before he came, and in his first year led us to 17 wins and 2nd place finish behind a great Valley team. That was with APR problems, lack of full scholarships, and program clearly at the bottom. Then he followed it up with a pretty solid 20-win season.

Dude they're hating so hard that they're not even making sense.

He also picked up additional funding from his former boss and other things to get the program on solid ground so it could recover faster...more power to him but there probably wasn't no position worth leaving SU for unlike Sean Woods who would've taken lateral jobs in urban areas just to get out of the Delta.

what were the offers? How am I hating?

This all started when someone said SU would dominate across the board and I said "no", they'll never do that again, they come out of hiding :emlaugh:

There is a difference in city driving and country driving IMHO. I drove several years in Metro Atlanta 45 minutes both ways. It wasn't the same kind of drive from N.O. to Gulfport although the time was the same. I guess driving across the Twin Span (Lake Ponchartrain) in the fog sometimes didn't help either. :emlaugh: That drive between BR and Opelousas on 190 is boring (to me anyway) and reminds me of that commute to Gulfport. :emlaugh:

Don't tell TBF nothing. Hell he is a phone call away from working at TxSU himself. LOL. He knows the truth. Let someone offer him more money than PV is paying him and he is ghost.

Shit JR, that ni**a would blaze 290 east for maroon/grey and make the freeway look like West, texas explosion in a heartbeat. You'd think it was a fertilizer plant on 290 that SOB would explode under his tires getting rubber. :emlaugh: Not hating, just giving my personal opinion.

Congrats to SU on the tennis sweep. Speaks volumes.

No need to be mad at the current women's TENNIS champions. Like Panthro said, it speaks volumes.:emlaugh:
