Prairie View Athletic Director Steps Down

It's the truth.......he was part-time. That's why a lot of us PVers were starting to get frustrated because it was going on for too long. We appreciate Fred for stepping in and taking over the duties when he did, but it was going on for too damn long. Now is the time for us to get a full time person in there and take this department to the next level. Our programs have maintained well during this stretch, but we haven't accelerated. Now is the time to push forward.

I hope this means an end to having that ridiculous game in Shreveport.

It's there game bruh. Let them have at it. As long as SU ain't trying to have any home games over there. I assume that PV thought they would get some N LA exposure for recruiting purposes or something. Who knows. It is better than going to HS stadium after HS stadium every other year in Texas.

Ouch.

LOL @ JH. I wasn't trying to smack PV. But at least we know where we are playing them in Shreveport. Not that us Jags like going there. But you can plan in advance knowing that the game will be in Independence Stadium and know they can tailgate and be comfortable if they do decide to make the trip to North LA for that game. In Houston, you don't know and playing at the HS stadium takes some of the atmosphere out of it. Heck if I was rich like T Boone Pickens. I would give PV the money to build a stadium on that nice campus. Of course that is after I set SU up with all the best amenities.:D

The Shreveport Classic makes sense financially if done right as the stadium was rent free and you did better playing Jackson State there than in Texas

Ain't mad at yall for doing it. If it works for PV. More power to you.

Looks like you got a job opening you can apply to at PV. Time to make your move.

*sucking air through teeth*

I'm going to send an e-mail to aTm-b/cs and longhorn AD/coaches and tell them that <b>"Prairie View officials think your football team is a bunch of pussies and would EASILY put a foot through y'alls ass in 2014."</b> Hopefully that should get the ball rolling in the right direction. :read:

Did Wright turn in his resignation letter too? lol
